Journalism is the aggregating,

6. WHAT IS MEDIA?
In general, "media" refers to
various means of communication.
For example, television, radio, and
the newspaper are different types
of media. The term can also be
used as a collective noun for the
press or news reporting agencies.
In the computer world, "media" is
also used as a collective noun,
but refers to different types of
data storage options.

9. Media censorship is used to officially
control and suppress any expression that
can potentially jeopardize the order of the
state. Historically, censorship has been used
to monitor public morals, to control public
awareness, and to silence opposition.
The Internet provides the fastest
medium for delivering information and/or
materials without needing identifying
information that could potentially be used for
tracking. However, the Internet media also
has its own censorship. The information
available on the Internet is censored either
visibly or stealthily.

of an internet page or a site which
features mostly short, exciting and
gossipy stories. Internet tabloids’
crucial function is delivering the news
with the help of catching attention of
readers.
The main function of internet
tabloids is the emphasis on such topics
as sensational crime stories, astrology,
celebrity gossip and television. Internet
tabloids mostly do not have a reference
to newspapers published in this format.

12. The word "tabloid" comes from the name given by the
London-based pharmaceutical company Burroughs Wellcome
& Co. to the compressed tablets they marketed as "Tabloid"
pills in the late 1880s.
A tabloid is expected to provide readers with celebrity
rumours and crime stories with huge photos and pictures
which grab attention than news about international problems
or the economy. They are shown mainly on the front page of
an Internet site.
