2. Itinerary
Day 1 Amman Airport - Amman
Uponarrivalyouwillbeassistedbyourrepresentative
and transferred to Amman, where you will take a
short tour of the Old part of the city.
Day 2 Amman - Umm Qais - Ajloun -
Jerash - Amman (click for details)
In the morning, you will depart towards Umm Qais.
On the way back to Amman you will enjoy a visit of
Ajloun and Jerash.
Day 3 Amman City Tour - Feynan (click for
details)
Today you will enjoy a tour of Amman with visits
to the Citadel, Roman Amphitheater and the Blue
Mosque. You will continue to Feynan for overnight
in a candle lit EcoLodge in the heart of Dana Reserve.
Day 4 Feynan free - Petra (click for details)
After breakfast you can explore different activities in
Feynan, then you will be loaded into pick up trucks
and head towards Petra through the stunning Namla
Pass.
Day 5 Full day Petra visit - Wadi Rum

Enjoy a full day visit of the rose-red city of Petra,
then head to Wadi Rum, where you will take on a
4x4 Jeep tour, then enjoy dinner and overnight in
Bedouin camp.
Day 6 Wadi Rum free - Madaba - Nebo -
Dead Sea (click for details)
Free morning in Wadi Rum where you can opt
for any of our extra activities. At noon you will be
transferred to the Dead Sea with stops to Madaba
and Nebo en route.
Day 7 Dead Sea - Amman Airport
Free morning to relax at the Dead Sea. At the
appointed time, you will head towards Amman
Airport for your departure flight.
3. Day 2
Umm Qais, Ajloun & Jerash
Today we will drive two hours from Amman to Gadara
(Umm Qais), which belonged to the famous Decapolis, a
union of 10 cities, founded by Alexander the Great. Here
you have an overwhelming view over the north Jordan
Valley, the Golan Heights and the Sea of Galilee and stroll
through the Greco-Roman remains. After the visit of Um
Qais, we will head towards Jerash, the well preserved city
of the Roman Empire, often called Pompeii of the East.
Visit Hadrian’s Arch, built in 130 AD to honor the visit of
Emperor Hadrian. Pass the Hippodrome offering space for
15,000 spectators, the impressing Forum, continue to the
Temple of Artemis, which columns are 12 meters high and
each drum weights 20-40 tons. Other highlights are the
Colonnaded Street and the Nymphaeum. After Jerash, we
will head out to visit Ajloun the great 12th century Islamic
castle built around 1184/85 by the famous Islamic leader
Salah al-Din. After visiting the Ajloun Castle, we will head
back to Amman hotel for overnight.

4. Day 3
Amman Tour
Today we will head out to start our full- day City Tour of
Amman, Jordan. Start your Amman City sightseeing with
a visit to the King Abdulla Mosque which was completed
in 1989 as a memorial by the late King Hussein to his
grandfather. Then pay a visit to the Amman Citadel,
Roman Amphitheater, and walk in Amman’s downtown
markets and City center before heading toward Feynan.
Here, deep in Wadi Araba’s remote landscape, the
Feynan Lodge provides an unparalleled experience in
desert accommodation. This unique candle-lit Eco-lodge

5. Day 4
Feynan
Today we will enjoy a variety of activities such as hikes in the
surround areas or getting to know the Bedouin lifestyle by
visiting a local family and try one of the following:
1. Making kohl in Feynan
A local Bedouin will show you the process of making Kohl, the Bedouin eye
makeup that is believed to strengthen eyesight, protect against eye ailment
in addition to its cosmetic and aesthetic uses.
2. Making Arabic coffee in Feynan
Arabic coffee is an essential part of the Bedouin traditions as it is served on
almost every occasion. During this experience, you will be taught how to
roast, ground and boil the coffee beans as well as the etiquette of serving it.
3. Baking earthy “Arbood” bread in Feynan
A local will teach you how to bake Bedouin bread from only flour, salt and
water kneaded and baked in ash.
4. Weaving goat-haired tents in Feynan
From the beating of the hair through to the weaving process, learn the full
process of making a tent from goat hair.
In the afternoon you will be assisted onto pickup trucks heading
to Petra through the scenic Namela Pass. This is most definitely
a rugged and unique experience and not for the faint of heart.
That said, Namela pass on Bedouin pickup trucks is definitely a
one of a kind experience! Overnight in Petra Hotel.

6. Day 5
Petra & Wadi Rum
Today we will start our full-day tour of the rose red city
of Petra, the biggest attraction of Jordan. Petra was first
established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean
Arabs, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the
foundations of a commercial empire that extended into
Syria. Upon arrival you will begin the trip on horseback
to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then by foot to the
most beautiful monument: the Treasury. Among other
monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the
Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. After the tour, we
will head towards the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of
the most impressing desert landscapes in the World. The
area was made famous in the west by Lawrence of Arabia
who described it as “vast, echoing and god-like”. Discover
the area featured by rugged mountains and colored sand
dunes during a 4x4 Jeep tour, enjoy canyons, sand dunes
and rock inscriptions. After the excursion we will head to
our camp for dinner & overnight.

7. Day 6
Madaba, Mount Nebo & Dead Sea
Today we will drive towards the town Madaba, where you
find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in
St. George’s church. After that continue to Mt. Nebo, the
place where Prophet Moses gazed at the promised land
before he died and alleged to be his burial place. You will
visit an old monastery; overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead
Sea and parts of the Holy Land. Then we will proceed and
go down to the lowest point on earth, check-in the resort.
Rest of the day to relax and enjoy the facilities of the resort.
Overnight in the Dead Sea resort.
