3. INTRODUCTION
The next show is one of the wonders of the World
and one of the most amazing works in the
construction of which nearly twenty thousand
workers participated. "Taj Mahal" with an area of
170,000 square meters and using white marble. The
Taj Mahal was built in memory of King Shah Jahan’s
wife.

5. • TAJ MAHAL mausoleum located on the southern rightbank of the
Yamuna or Jumna River, east of the city of Agra, located in the western
Uttar Pradesh State, in northern India. The Taj Mahal covers
approximately 170,000square meters of the area of Agra.
6. The gate is made of silver and decorated with verses from the Holy
Qur’an. Its height is about 30 meters. The upper part of the gate
consists of a tent-shapeddome.

The Taj Mahal is the clearest edifice left by the
Muslim Mughal Empire, and it is an example of
Mughal architecture. Its origins testify to the era
when a generation of Mughals ruled most of India.
