"Life Skills Facilitators is an independent learning institution committed to providing
quality education and skills development. At Life Skills Facilitators we are passionate

At Life Skills Facilitators prospective students can complete Grade 12 on the old and
new curriculum or obtain an accredited Certificate and Diploma qualifications in areas
of Financial Accounting, Bookkeeping, Entrepreneurship, Public Sector Accounting,
Hospitality and Tourism. Life Skills Facilitators is an accredited
provider of the internationally recognized Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB)
and the Chartered Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (ITH).
Our Grade 12 curriculum program is specifically tailored to assist working adults to
successfully complete their matric part time. We provide face-to-face lectures from
highly experienced teachers and professionals, providing all study material and past
exam papers and also exam writing and study techniques. Our program is
structured at assisting adults who have left school many years ago, and
lack the confidence to complete matric. We at Life Skills Facilitators strongly believe
that with hard work, dedication and quality teachers, anybody can get their grade 12
qualifications and the success of our past students are proof of this.
Our Grade 12 NSC curriculum program is aimed at students who have attempted
or completed Grade 12 after 2007, but have not passed all their subjects or wish
to improve their marks for specific subjects to gain admission into university or
other tertiary institutions. More specifically, we provide lectures and study
material in Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Sciences, English and Geography."

Lectures are held in the lectures halls of Cape Peninsula University of Technology
Cape Town Campus, Engineering Department located at the corner of Keisergraght
and Tennant Street, Zonnebloem, Cape Town. Johannesburg (Athlone Girls High School,
Frederick Street, Overvatory, Johannesburg. We realize that many of the candidates
are working people and therefore to accommodate them, and others with busy schedules,
our lectures are held on Saturdays from 8h00-13h00.

Life Skills Facilitators also offer face-to-face lectures to new
curriculum students who have been registered for Grade 12
after 2007. We at Life Skills have realized that many prospective
students are not admitted into universities and other tertiary
institutions because they do not qualify or their marks were not
good enough, particularly in Mathematics and Physical Science.
Therefore we also assist prospective student who would like
to re-write subjects to improve their marks thereby giving
them the opportunity to pursue the qualification and hence
the career of their dreams.
NATIONAL SENIOR CERTIFICATE
(NEW CURRICULUM):
Life Skills Facilitators offers our services in the

The exams of the new curriculum are administered by the Department of Education
and take place during November and December each year.

TOURISM
MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMES
IN TOURISM & HOSPITALITY
You must be at least 17 years old and must have passed
Grade 11 or your GCSEs
If you have not passed Grade 11/GCSEs, but ar e over the
age of 21, you may still be considered.
You must be able to speak, read and write English.
600 guided learning hour s
Four modules must be completed
Duration: approximately one year
You will be assessed b y completing three assignments and one exams
Throughout the course and its assessmen ts,
you will need to demonstrate interpersonal, self-study, research
and presentation skills.
Start your working life at team member level as a :
Guest support representative, hotel receptionist,
assistant travel guide, porter, sales trainee, hygiene housekeeper,
maintenance assistant, trainee travel agent.
Progress to our Level 4 Diploma programmes or gain access to
the first year of a relevant university degree at:
