2. George Ezra Barnett is a British singer and songwriter. He became famous after
releasing 2 of his extended play records ‘Did You Hear the Rain?’ and ‘Cassy O’
followed by the hit single ‘Budapest’, which went on the top music charts in
numerous countries.
3. George Ezra is known for his deep, bluesy and soulful
music. He is clearly following the path paved by
musicians Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie
His second album ‘Staying at Tamara’s’ in 2018 tabled
at the 1st spot in UK, as well as in 8 other countries
Single ‘Paradise’ claimed 2nd spot in UK music charts
His following single ‘Shotgun’ hit 1st spot in UK, Ireland
and Australia
4. George Ezra Barnett was born on 7 June 1993 in Hertford,
Hertfordshire. Both his parents are teachers
He completed his primary education in Bengeo and then went to
Simon Balle School
In 2011 he relocated to Bristol where he attended the British and Irish
Modern Music Institute
He made his stage debut at the age of 13
