A plan or an idea, often a formal or written
one, which is suggested for people to think
about and decide upon.

The purpose of the written proposal is to
save your time by identifying a specific
goal and establishing that pursuing that
goal is worthwhile.

● Make contact with real person and then address the
proposal to him.
● Involve others in editing the proposal.
● Explain acronyms such as “GDSC" (very important).
● Show some passion.
● Be specific and to the point as much as possible.
● Don't exaggerate, The shorter the better.

• Revise your proposal for any spelling or grammar
mistakes.
• Don't crowd the text.
• Use a font that is easy to read.
• Be human rather than academic but don't go overboard
on emotions.

• Take "one proposal fits all" approach, use what you know to make the
proposal fit the target speaker.
• Send so much documentation that the reader give up before he begins.
• Hide information the speaker is entitled to.
• Use unnecessary jargon "specialized language“
