1. Wind Analysis
January thru February Wind Direction
Through the months of November through January,
wind typically comes from the West and South with very
little coming from the North and East. February contin-
ues this trend, however Eastern winds start playing a
factor.
March and April tend to be somewhat of an anomoly.
In March, the winds most directly come from the noth,
east and south. Western winds fail to exist. In April,
western winds kick in again while Southern winds re-
duce. Most wind comes from the north and east.
May through June see winds from the NNW through
East to SSW.
July tends to only receive northern winds, while Au-
gust through September receives wind from the North
through East to the South.
Finally, October’s winds come mainly from the north-
west, South and East.
What can be discovered by reading these charts is that
the warm weather months don’t typically receive winds
from the west while the cold winter months more direct-
ly provide wind from this direction. The same could be
said of the eastern winds in reverse order of months.
