4. Creative event: a co-production of all guests and
participants by writing this year’s theme ‘ (Le)’
(Happiness from calligraphy) in various fonts on a 10-
meter-long scroll

Chinese traditional culture in Singapore.
7. Performance: NUS Chinese Society – Chinese Orchestra Club
performed a few songs to celebrate Chinese New Year. This
exemplified another meaning of the theme, ‘ (Yue)’, which
means music in Chinese.
