Yi Sun has extensive experience in materials engineering and research. He holds an M.S. in Materials Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.E. in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. As a Materials Engineering Technology Engineer at Bechtel, he has worked on several major LNG and chemical projects, where he was responsible for materials selection, specifications development, and engineering support. Previously he conducted research at the University of Wisconsin on developing metal matrix composites through modified casting techniques and particle reinforcement to achieve enhanced properties.
