1. NetApp related job activities:
 Design and setup various NetApp FAS arrays in both 7-mode and Cluster mode.
 Design and Setup SnapMirror, Snapvault and Metro Closuter on NetApp FAS Arrays.
 Trained Customer on On Command Suite.
 Installed and Managed On command Unified Manager, Insight, System Manager.
 Managed and executed Netapp C-mode Migrations
 Designed and implemented Netapp C-mode arrays for Oracle, VMware, Microsoft

 Scale up various FAS arrays with two additional nodes.
 Validate the design of various SAN and NAS solutions from EMC and NetApp.

and Performance, Configured OCI to collect performance and capacity data from EMC's
VMAX, VNX, HDS USP, Vfilers.
 Implemented EMC VNX2 and VMAX based FC SAN solutions.
 Migrated 100 TB of EMC VNX to NetApp cluster mode.
 Implemented NetApp controllers FAS8200 and FAS9000 for NAS deployment for greater
connectivity, scalability, improved performance.
 Coordinate with NetApp on the newer updates for different FAS systems, certified in the lab
and included in the upgrade and build process for newer installations.
 Migrated 500Terabytes of data during data center migration from lower end storage arrays
FAS270c, FAS960c to robust arrays FAS3040c, and FAS3020c using SnapMirror technology.
 Troubleshooting the performance issues with CIFS, NFS.
 Enabled CIFS/NFS protocol, created volumes/qtrees/quotas and respective shares with
proper permissions and presented them to windows and UNIX servers.
 Configuration and Management of NetApp Storage Network that includes NetApp Filers setup,
quota administration, snapshots backup and restore, OS and Firmware upgrade, failed disk
replacement, cluster design, NDMP backup, network configuration, NFS,CIFS administration,
disaster recovery fail-over and fail-back between sites.
 Implemented SANscreen service insight to monitor storage infrastructure in near real-time,
reporting back the current state of all infrastructure objects such as storage arrays, hosts,
switches, volumes, disks, and ports and their properties such as zoning, mapping, storage
availability, port use, and port status .
 Implemented SANscreen Capacity Manager for near real-time visibility into global resource
allocations, rule based automated service tier management, and utilization and chargeback
reports, to accelerate application provisioning, manage reservations of different resources,
forecast based on future demand and simplify the provisioning process--enabling front-line
support engineers to create and use accurate service provisioning action plans.

2. EMC related job activities:
 Installed and Designed Various models of EMC VMAX and VNX2 from scratch.
 Identifying performance bottlenecks in the VMAX and VNX environment.
 Configured storage for business critical applications using Confidential XTremeIO.
 Provisioned storage from VMAX 3, VMAX, VNX, VPLEX to various hosts and used Auto
Provisioning to assign storage from VMAX array.
 Analysing the current IOPS against the Application IOPS requirement and providing
recommendations to the customer.
 Successfully migrated data between XIV to VNX using Confidential VPlex
virtualizationAppliance.
 Managing Confidential VMAX, VNX, VPLEX appliances using Symmcli & Symmetrix
Management Console for Administration and management.
 Implemented & configured Confidential VPLEX Metro in VMware environment.
 Migrated legacy windows cluster server’s from VMAX to VMAX using Confidential VPLEX.
 Managing Recoverpoint/SE for high availability of SAP applications between Orlando and
KMTC Data center.
 Managing and administering Recoverpoint appliances using Unisphere and RPA Dashboard.
 Changed policies of the SAN to meet the IOPS requirement and monitored the SAN per-
formance post policy upgrade.
 Configured local copy services like BCV Timefinder clone and mirroring solutions.
 Identified Orphan storage in Confidential VMAX environment and saved $ 5 M in capacity.
 Performs storage provisioning for heterogonous environments in local and remote data
centers.
 Managing and configuring the Isilon environment using InsightIQ.
 Configuring SmartQuotas for different shares as per business requirement.
 Configured and administered Confidential Isilon x200 storage arrays.
 Configured snapshots for different shares using SnapshotIQ in Isilon Arrays.

 Developed scripts for SAN backup and automated alerting into enterprise Monitoring tool.
 Managed Cisco SAN Switches 9500, 9124 using Fabric manager.
 Deployed new SAN environment involving setup of Cisco 9500 switches from the scratch.
 Configured different Inter-operability modes in Cisco & Mcdata switches to create single SAN
Island in DC.
 Developed blue print on current and future Cisco SAN Firmware releases to cover all bugs &
remedies and published to all stakeholders.
