4. Introduction
• The basic motto of this project is to provide an appointment booking
system online.
• It’s a online mode appointment booking system so that no need any kind of
paperwork is required
• This website mainly targets those who don’t have time to wait for their turn.

5. Project Scope
• The basic motto of this project is to save the time of the patients and
doctors and make management easy for the hospital.
• The purpose of this website is to give the facility to book an appointment in
online mode.
• Our website provides all the necessary details of doctors and free slots for
the appointment so that there will be no confusion. We have designed our
website in such a manner that it will not create any kind of confusion related
to doctors’ details and other things.

6. Product Features
• Platform independence is one of the most important features of this project.
This website can run on any devise that has browser and an active internet
connection. So that there is no need for any kind of installation.
• This website has user-friendly interface so that admin, doctors and patients
can easily understand the workflow of the online appointment booking
system.
• This website will help to manage appointments so it will reduce the burden
on staff members of the hospital so that management of appointments can
be done in an effective way.

7. User Documentation
Doctor
• The doctor’s id and password will be provided by the admin to the doctor.
• After the successful login, they can see schedule modules, appointments,
profile.
• In the profile section, the doctor can see, edit, and delete the doctor's details.
• Doctor schedule: in this section doctor can schedule the appointment time
of the doctor.
• Appointment: in this section, doctor can see the booked appointment status.
Only a doctor can edit the field of diagnosis whatever he/she has diagnosed.

8. User Documentation
Patients
• Patients need to create and verify the account
• After successful login patients will be redirected to the dashboard and they
can see options like booking appointments, editing information.
• After the consultation by the doctor, the PDF of They can also download
the PDF of the appointment.

• In the patient’s dashboard, they can see the available doctors and profile tab
in which they can see and edit the profile.

12. Functional Requirements
 Admin can add new doctor in hospital and admin can also delete
the existing doctor. Admin have rights about activate/deactivate
doctor’s account.
 When doctor will login with their id and password, they can see
the booked appointment. After the diagnosed doctor can remark in
the appointment.

• After the appointment patient can download the PDF of the appointment.
• Admin have all rights about the online appointment booking system
