Youth-led outreach around sexual health using various forms of technology is crucial in creating a positive, empowering narrative around teen sexual and reproductive health and rights. Learn how Lifebeat, Music Fights HIV/AIDS, is reaching youth by mobilizing the talents and resources of some of the most influential artists in the music industry to deliver HIV/AIDS and STDs awareness messages through broadcast, print, social and digital media. Our outreach volunteers directly engage with and educate youth where they are--at music venues, concerts and events--sparking open dialogue that helps reduce stigma around teen sexuality by making sexual health a part of everyday conversations.

- Next slide Add a quote from Maria Davis about condoms + youth (Collectively) The #LustforLife campaign was created to bring all of us—artists, health activists, community leaders, and the public—together to shine a national spotlight on this issue. Here's our first step: 1 ONE partnered with Billi Kid to curate twenty-two celebrated graffiti and street artists in the New York City area, who wanted to use their talents to raise awareness. We provided the artists with ordinary traffic STOP signs, which they have repurposed into powerful works of art. 2 "The art was exhibited at Urban Outfitters in Herald Square and auctioned off to benefit Lifebeat, a national non-profit organization that provides HIV outreach and support to young people in urban communities. 3 ONE is producing condom wrappers inspired by the work of the artists, and will distribute millions of them through public health organizations nationwide. We will also introduce retail 12-packs and other products, and will donate a portion of sales to urban outreach programs.
