ABOUT US (WS)
Women's Synergy is a registered Trust with a non-profit mission for empowering women through
‘Synergies & Symbiotic relationships’ among women from varied backgrounds, for the creation of
a ‘Resource pool’ for women at large; and particularly, for their ‘circumstantially challenged’
counterparts.
OUR VISION
“To see women in their ‘Rightful’, ‘Secure’, ‘Self-created’ positions of pride
within their families, society and the nation at large.”
OUR MISSION
“To establish ‘Synergies and Symbiotic relationships’ among women
from varied backgrounds that would in turn facilitate their individual and collective growth
towards the creation of a self-sustained ‘Resource pool’ for themselves, as well as their
circumstantially challenged and less advantaged counterparts.“
THE “4Ps” PILLARING OUR MISSION
Women are encouraged to take ‘self-initiatives’ to sustain themselves along their respective
journeys and collective goals with an ‘Appreciative’ vision, through their involvement in the
creation, buffering and fine-tuning of the “4Ps” pillaring our mission, with their *PURPOSE, *PEER
UNDERSTANDING, *PROMOTION OF SYNERGIES & *POTENTIAL GROUP STRENGTH.
THE “4Bs” SUPPORTING OUR WOMEN’S ECO-SYSTEM
In due course, women develop and further fortify the 4Bs - “BELIEVING; BUILDING; BOLSTERING AND
BRANDING” which they adopt to support their own unique, self-created ‘ecosystem’ for themselves to
bank upon for a life-time! The power and potential value of such an eco-system sparking initially from
a handful of women, is directly proportional to its dimension with time; in terms of growth, versatility,
sustenance and holistic support of stakeholders, local as well as far-flung.
Thus, the “4Ps and 4Bs” go hand-in-hand, involving the active participation of our evolving
network of women constituting our SYMNET (Symbiotic Network) of women hailing from all walks
of life, all along, backed by Women’s Synergy!

WHAT WE DO:
I. CREATION OF SYNERGIES & SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIPS AMONG WOMEN
THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS & OTHER ACTIVITIES:
At WS, we create and conduct programs, campaigns and activities, through collaborative efforts
which fall into the following three distinctive buckets or compartments:
1. ORIENTATION & ‘ON BOARDING’ OF WOMEN WITH SPECIAL FOCUS ON CIRCUMSTANTIALLY
(PHYSICALLY, FINANCIALLY, SOCIALLY AND/OR PSYCHOLOGICALLY) CHALLENGED WOMEN;
2. PROMOTION OF ‘SPIRIT OF SELF-INTIATIVES, SYNERGIES & SYMBIOTIC RELATIONSHIPS AMONG
WOMEN FOR THEIR GROWTH AND DEVELPOMENT THROUGH VARIOUS CAPACITY
STRENGTHENING PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES;
3. FACILITATION OF WOMEN’S ACCESS AND/OR THEIR REACHING OUT TO WOMEN COUNTERPARTS
AS PART OF A VIBRANT ECO-SYSTEM SUPPORTING WOMEN’S GROWTH & SUSTENANCE.
& AS A LONG-TERM VISION:
Sustenance of Women’s Development through Advocacy & Lobbying activities with women being
their own spokespersons; backed by an array of stakeholder groups comprising both individuals and
institutions.

1. WS-TIS (TAPPING INNER STRENGTH) – A psycho-social counseling program for women in stress
2. WS-TReP (TALENT REVIVE PROGRAM) – A program to boost the entrepreneurial capacities of women
3. WS-WOK (WOMEN’S KALEIDOSCOPE) – A multi-theme self-designed women’s program
4. WS-WOM (WOMEN’S ORIENTATION MEETS) – A program orienting women towards opportunities
in store for them within WS boundaries

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our underpinning philosophy is that of ‘Appreciative Inquiry’, (AI); chosen for adoption at an
organizational level (at WS) as well as for adaptation by our women, along their individual and collective
journeys towards ‘Appreciative Living’ (AL).
Considering Indian women themselves as an ‘organization’ and ‘huge collective of resource’ available for
tapping into, owing to the nature of their constituting such a huge, unique, versatile and eclectic mix; they
are encouraged and guided to take on and pursue their journeys along their self-chartered ‘AI to AL’ routes.

At yet another plane, WS-‘HAS’(Harnessing Synergies); is an initiative to get members to sign up
on our two distinct Rosters – Roster of Individual Persons and Roster of Resource Institutions
constituting a part of our larger WS-Resource Pool comprising material and other resources for
women.
WE ARE NOT INTO ‘INTERVENTION’. WE ENGAGE IN ALL THAT IT TAKES TO “AVERT” THE VERY
NEED FOR IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! HOWEVER, WITH DUE RESPECT FOR THE NEED FOR
INTERVENTION, DEPENDING ON THE CASE, AND AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, WE DO ORGANIZE CASE-
SPECIFIC REFERRAL SERVICES.
