Shooing Anaemia and non-stick pans by
taking up the Hard Work
Roasting the whitish cereal into so ‘Heavenly-
Smelling’
Teasing olfactory senses to which it is So
Appealing!
1. Green ‘n’ red, sour-pungent- bitter and hot
They’re all ‘ready-to-go’ ; in Perfect Sync as a lot
Sprightly as ever, synergies Propel them Fast
Towards the evolution of an improvised,
lip-smacking, ‘South Indian’ Breakfast!
3. Says the ‘Stainless steel’ kadai with the
Simmering Oil Within:
“Hey! I’m the healthier one with a ‘steely’
resolve,
Well, use me; as many a problem I could
Solve
For health reasons, at least, please Do make
a Start;
Use me in lieu of my Aluminum Counterpart"

3. 6. Yes, they’re all in it together now, even the
‘Hing’ and the Indispensable Salt,
All showing up and doing justice to the dish,
Now Free of Fault
What a joyous change in andscape
‘Togetherness’ could bring Simply
And even make some go as ‘Green’ (as this)
with Envy!
4. These seasonings, awesome, aren’t ‘So Camera-
Conscious’ Perhaps
Shy mustards take the lead though, Without
‘Time lapse’
Give out ‘spluttering’ calls to these showcased Grains
Aglow
Now these proud grains follow; just Go with the Flow!
5. Nice and roasted, Golden Brown
Best of condiments and Spices in Town
In chorus signal friends to hurry up; Not to be Slack
As any delay on their part could turn them
Unpalatably Black!

4. 9. Though unique too is each and every ROLE
COMING TOGETHER IS THEIR PRIME COMMON
GOAL[
YES… Right is your guess, the Fenugreek
Leaves UPMA!!.
THE IRON PACKED NUTRITIOUS ‘METHI’ UPMA
‘YET...’TIS THE TOPPING & PRESENTATION
THAT APPEAL, MAKING A DIFFERENCE! …and

7. Says the ‘Roasted & Readied ‘Sooji’ hastily
leaping in:
“Upma? without ME?!.. How could that BE!?!
You’ll are all nice & spotted, but don’t Ever Feel
SAD
We’re temporarily dimmed; BUT YOU’LL
SURE SEE SOON, THE ‘VALUE ADD’
8. Says the ‘water’ in-the-hiding, boiling
within:
“Oh hear me out; Hail Guys, Hail’
Thought I was Frail?
I can boil down your Egos all & Blend
Together your Strengths & Flavors you’ll
Lend
Without taking credit at all For Anything
I’ll vanish after quietly Accomplishing
Everything!”

5. “Great would I feel with a topping; a dollop or so of Pure Cow's Ghee!
Only high temperatures lead ghee to ‘Toxicity’, you see!”
So says the yummy ' Breakfast-on-Plate'
While ‘put-on-wait’ is that ‘Restless Palate’!
*Enjoyed the sight of that ‘Stand –Alone’ Mustard to the LEFT of that plate above, with that
special ‘3-D’ effect? – Almost as if popping out of your laptop/desktop screens!!

6. Some Hindi terms explained:
1) Sooji: A cereal processed from whole wheat; 2) Kadai: frying pan; 3) Hing: Asafoetida, a gum with
therapeutic properties, obtained from the bark of a tree; 4) Methi: Fenugreek leaves
