The South Park Gardens Easter Egg
Hunt on Sunday 20th March will get
your family off to a cracking start. The
search kicks off at 3pm, with tickets on
the day/on the door at £2 each. You
can pick up the trail again with another
egg hunt at Merton Abbey Mills: part
of their “Easter Thrills at the Mills”
event on Sunday 27th March. This
family fun day includes a bouncy
castle and children’s workshops in art,
crafts, pottery, cake making, music,
drama and dance.

7. After your trip to Merton Abbey Mills, keep the
outdoor theme going with a visit to Deen City
Farm, an urban farm and educational centre
where the kids might even get to make friends
with an Easter chick or a spring lamb.

8. BRING THE MAGIC INDOORS
If the weather’s chilly you can always
book seats for Polka Theatre’s lively
production of ‘Snow White’ (tickets
£13.50, suitable for ages 4­8).
Alternatively take them to the
theatre’s Bouncing Bunnies Jumpy
Jive morning on 30th March. This
creative movement session ­ inspired
by Easter bunnies and other colourful
creatures – is suitable for ages 3 ­5
and starts at 10am.
