1. Rest In Peace… Champ

In the early 1980's, I had the pleasure of meeting Muhammad Ali in Chicago in the Hyatt Regency Hotel where
we were both staying. I told him at the front desk, that I'd like to shake the hand of "The Champ". In the most
gracious and gentle way, he extended his right hand to me in friendship.
As I moved to shake his hand, I thought to myself, my God, how do I grasp his hand? His index finger alone
had to be at least 1 inch in diameter and 1 1/2 times as long as my longest finger. He was as gentle in grasping
my hand as any giant of a man could be. With both of my hands, I grasped his right hand and thanked him for
the opportunity to meet him.
I have ALWAYS remembered this meeting and only wish that he can now Rest In Peace. May GOD Grant you
the peace you have chosen to portray in your actions of generosity & friendship on earth.
We are worse-off here on earth without you and will miss you every day.
