1. Depositing Funds
What happens once I have funded my account?
When you have sent funds to your account, you will receive an email from Wellesley & Co
to confirm that your funds have arrived and are ready to be invested.
When you have logged into your account, you will see a button that says 'Select Your
Term' located to the top left had corner of the Account Overview page, click this and the
list of lending terms will appear on the page.
When you have selected your lending term, you must type in the amount you wish to
invest, accept the Terms and Conditions, and your funds will be committed.
If you wish to invest in the Wellesley Mini-Bond, please note that there is a short risk
assessment questionnaire that you will need to complete. This is due to the type of
investment you are making.
This process does not apply to any investment into the Wellesley Listed Bond.
How can I transfer funds into my Wellesley & Co
account?
To credit your Wellesley & Co account, please send funds to our segregated client
account, by bank transfer or by cheque.
If you are sending a cheque please write your Reference Number on the back of your
cheque. Please note that funds received without a Reference Number may delay the credit
of funds.
Transfers must be made from a bank account that is in your name or a verified joint bank
account. Please note that if you send funds from a joint bank account we may require
confirmation.
If you wish to make a transfer from a company bank account please contact us to open a
corporate account.

Payee Reference number/Account number. You must quote this number as the Payee
Reference. If you are sending a cheque please write your reference number on the back of
your cheque. Please note that funds received without a Reference Number may be
delayed or returned to the bank account that we received them from.
Do you accept debit cards?
At present no, however we are currently in the process of developing this facility.
Can I send funds from a bank account in someone
else’s name?
No, we do not accept funds from a third party. We do accept funds from a joint account,
however the transfer must state your name and not your partners name.
How long will it take for the funds to be credited to
my account?
If we receive your funds during working hours they will be credited to your account by
11am the next working day.
You will receive an email to notify you, and you will see the balance reflected in your Cash
Holding Account. Please feel free to give us a call if you do not see your
funds credited into your account and we will be happy to check our bank.
If we are unable to verify your funds (no name or account details provided on credit) we
would normally return funds.
