1. A little bit of WelCare
Kingston WelCare offers local families support with parenting issues
from experienced Support Workers.
We are based at WelCare House which provides a warm, safe and
stimulating environment where parents and children are made to feel
welcome. Through our creative activities, the project aims to promote
good parenting to enhance parents’ self-confidence, skills and enjoyment
of their role and to promote the wellbeing and development of young
children.
Kingston WelCare welcomes people from all ethnic backgrounds and
faiths and are pleased to take telephone enquiries and self-referrals.
As an independent charity, WelCare is reliant on donations to assist in
the running of its projects.

For parents having difficulty coping with the parenting challenges of daily life.

3. Transition to Secondary School - A Parent's Guide
Wednesday 11th June 7.30 - 8.45 p.m.
Stepping into the world of secondary school is a
major transition for both children and parents.
This workshop will help you focus on how you
can best support your child through these
changes. The workshop will take a practical and
engaging approach to help you explore the
emotional and social challenges when starting
year 7.
