Are you ready? The child of God is admonished to "always be ready"! We are to be ready to meet God on His terms at His timing. We are to be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in each of us. Most of all, we are to be ready for our Lord's return.

Are you ready
1.
2. Matthew 25:1-13
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be
likened to ten virgins who took their
lamps and went out to meet the
bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were
wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who
were foolish took their lamps and took
no oil with them,
3. Matthew 25:1-13
4 but the wise took oil in their vessels
with their lamps. 5 But while the
bridegroom was delayed, they all
slumbered and slept. 6 “And at midnight
a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom
is coming; go out to meet him!’
4. Matthew 25:1-13
7 Then all those virgins arose and
trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish
said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your
oil, for our lamps are going out.’
5. Matthew 25:1-13
9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest
there should not be enough for us and
you; but go rather to those who sell, and
buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they
went to buy, the bridegroom came, and
those who were ready went in with him
to the wedding; and the door was shut.
6. Matthew 25:1-13
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also,
saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he

you, I do not know you.’ 13 “Watch
therefore, for you know neither the day
nor the hour in which the Son of Man is
coming.
9. Exodus 19:9-11
9 And the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, I
come to you in the thick cloud, that the
people may hear when I speak with you,
and believe you forever.” So Moses told
the words of the people to the LORD.
10. Exodus 19:9-11
10 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to
the people and consecrate them today
and tomorrow, and let them wash their

third day. For on the third day the LORD
will come down upon Mount Sinai in the
sight of all the people.
11. Exodus 34:1,2
1 And the LORD said to Moses, “Cut two
tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will
write on these tablets the words that were
on the first tablets which you broke. 2 So be
ready in the morning, and come up in the
morning to Mount Sinai, and present
yourself to Me there on the top of the
mountain.
12. Proverbs 7:1-3
1 My son, keep my words,
And treasure my commands within you.
2 Keep my commands and live,
And my law as the apple of your eye.
3 Bind them on your fingers;
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
14. 1Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your
hearts, and always be ready to give a
defense to everyone who asks you a
reason for the hope that is in you, with
meekness and fear;
15. 2Timothy 4:2
Preach the word! Be ready in season
and out of season. Convince, rebuke,
exhort, with all longsuffering and
teaching.

42 Watch therefore, for you do not know

house had known what hour the thief
would come, he would have watched
and not allowed his house to be broken
into.
19. Matthew 25:10-13
