In all the world, the only kiln-formed lampshades in stained glass are
made by Lyn Hovey Studio, Inc. in Boston and at it’s branch (Estudio de
Lyn Hovey S.A.) in Antigua, Guatemala.
Each Lampshade is handmade, and individually marked, and will be an
instant collector’s piece. —an investment in the future.
Less Complicated lampshades that were kiln-formed 100 years ago in the
United States and are valued at 2 to 10 times the cost of the stained glass

Design Your Own Lamp Shade
Custom designed or one of a kind lamp shades can be
commissioned!
Costs range as follows”
11” sized shade $2,400 to $6,000
16” sized shade $6,400 to $12,000
18” sized shade $12,000 to $20,000
Costs depend on the complexity of the design and/or if the
lamp shade will be one of a kind.
