Once served as the chairman, GM and deputy Party secretary of SUFA CNNC.
In 2006, Mr. Zhang was selected as Academic and Technical Leader of "111 Talents Project" of
China National Nuclear Corporation. Many projects led by MR. Zhang was awarded as Provincial
and ministerial level Third prizes, which included 200CG1DP-V Vacuum jacket plug valve, Project
405 High vacuum pressure valve, Bidirectional multiple sealed metal sealing ball valve, level I

Process Design
We combine the CAE finite element analysis and PRO-CAST hot forming simulation analysis
to optimize the process design and ensure the internal integrity of castings. The major
flows of technical designs are: process design drafting→ geometry model → finite element
partition → numerical simulation calculation → post process result analysis → spot the
design defects → improve the design → examine the improved design → submit for trial
approval.

19. HEVAL has designed and developed steel castings over
thousands types and varieties. Statistically, 80% of RT
films are acceptable, at the first time RT inspection for
high pressure valve castings. It is a leading position in
domestic market. More than 50% of certain valve
castings achieved level Ⅰ quality standard of national
nuclear industry at the first time test, which certifies
the first-class technical strength of HEVAL.

32. HEVAL adopts alkaline phenolic resin sand as the molding technique. Equipped with 5 induction furnaces, 3 continuous
sand mixers, one practically designed fast molding circle unit, electrical heat treatment furnaces with computer control systems,
shot blasting machines, acid wash facilities etc., HEVAL also has testing laboratories, NDT center and machining center, which
provide our customers with optional choices for adding value. Designed to produce more than 10,000 tons of castings annually,
HEVAL can provide you with carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex steel and super critical steel as per different
international standards, including ASTM, DIN/EN, NORSOK, AS, JIS, GOST, and GB/T etc.

Quality and Control

35. The NDT Center is built with 3 RT rooms, equipped with X-ray detection equipment like Ir-
192, Co-60, 6Mev and accelerators ( Max. wall THKNS 280MM). All inspection of VT, DT, MT,
UT and PT are carried out and supervised by professionals with ASME NDE certificates, 12
of whom are authorized to inspect Nuclear Grade Products.
Heval has full range of sand testing facilities, 2 sets of SPECTRO MAXX spectrum analyzer
and one of them is portable. HEVAL is also capable of doing micro-structure analyze, inter
granular corrosion test, universal mechanical property test, -196 ℃ impact test, hardness
test etc. All these analyze and tests are carried out by professional testers with certificates.
