Maple - Pumps (MA)
8. Binks Maple Series Pump
• Maple Pump range give positive
displacement, designed for the
“constant run” 24/7 needs of paint
circulating systems.
• Stainless steel fluid sections -
Compatible with SB, WB and
moisture sensitive catalysts.
• Low Ice & Lube Free air motor
design.
• Horizontal 4-ball fluid section for
shear sensitive materials.
• Tungsten Carbide Seats & Ceramic
Coated Pistons are standard.
(Piston comes with 5 year
replacement warranty)
9. Maple
Features :-
• Simple / quick disassembly & reassembly
• No Threaded connections
• External Main air control & Pilot valve
•Lube free air motor eliminates oil residue
in exhaust air & air line lubricator.
• Lower maintenance requirements
• Compatible with moisture sensitive materials
(catalyst)
• Equal pressure on each stroke
• Flooded seal provides longer seal life
• Low Paint shear operation
• Designed to pump abrasive coatings
•No external leaking packing seals
10. Fluid Section
Features
• No upper packing, Cylinder or
Displacement Rod.
• WB, SB, CC, Catalyst, Xiralic compatible.
• Bellows leak indication (“run to failure”
capability).
• High flow capabilities.
• Flooded seal provides longer seal life
expectancy.
• Piston never leaves seal thus extending
seal life.
• Ceramic piston & TC seats as standard.
• Option cycle counter, flow rate display,
pump runaway system incorporated.
13. Bellows on Maple Pumps
• FEA verified, design does not exceed material yield stress
• Manufactured from High Flex PTFE Composite material
• Compression moulded and ‘knifed’ from bar stock
• Non permeable (standard PTFE is permeable due to sintered
construction)
Bellows verified and tested for over 10 Million cycles
15. Air Control Valve
Simple design allows for numerous
advantages over existing air motor
technology:
• No trip rod assembly required.
• Magnetic detent valve proven technology.
• Magnetic “force” is always present. Will not
allow equal air pressure across the spool to
stall the pump.
• Life expectancy of lapped spool / sleeve is
“drastically” increase over traditional
technology.
• Air control spool valve can be changed on
line in less then 5 minutes.

17. Maple Air Expansion
• Proven low ice air motor
• Quick exhaust technology
• Air expansion outside of
moving components
• Pneumatic spool and sleve
incorporating magnetic
detent to eliminate stall
condition
18. Fluid Section: BINKS Maple Pump
Binks Maple –Fluid Section
Binks utilizes horizontal fluid section options
19. Fluid Section: BINKS Maple Pump
By utilizing a horizontal piston design Binks
has overcome the following normal fluid
section concerns:
• NO UPPER PACKING! With no exterior leaking seal
the pump is ideal for all materials (catalyst, xirallic,
mica, all CC, all BC, all primer…).
• Piston connection a simpler lower maintenance
product.
• Piston seal only needs to seal in one direction.
• Piston seal is constantly lubricated by paint
therefore seal life is drastically increased.
• With low pressure siphon area never seeing high
pressure the use of a bellows style seal is available.
20. Maple - Fluid Section
• No piston to cylinder contact point
thus no cylinder to wear.
• Piston comes standard as ceramic
coated! No optional extra charge. (5
year warranty)
• Piston seal is lubricated by material
on siphon side of pump.
• Ability to use low pressure bellows
seal.
• Back up chevron seal (as used as main
Graco seal) is used as back up seal to
bellows. This provides safe “run to
failure” capabilities.
• Tungsten carbide seats as standard!
21. Maple Pumps
