Vietnam's capital is described by almost all who go
there as "an old-fashioned city". Old-fashioned in style, it

The tour includes the visit of Tay Phuong – one of ten most beautiful Pagodas in Vietnam and authentic bike ride on the typical rural

old banyan trees. Depending on the season the farmers are working the surrounding rice paddies ploughing the fields with the buffalo,

ART & SHOPPING TOUR

Bat Trang Village locates 15km South East of
Hanoi. This is the most well-known pottery
village in Vietnam since the 15th century until
today. The village still keeping unique
decoration and glazes of very fine ceramics for
domestic use as well as exporting that creates
the great income for the local people.
T r a d i t i o n a l p o t t e r y m e t h o d s a n d
craftsmanship developed over generations are
still very much alive in the smaller family-run
factories where aspiring students come to

whole process, including clay preparation and
mixing, pouring the molds, firing with the old
style kilns and the decorating process as well
as taking the great walking tour along the
extremely narrow alleys in the old and

HALF DAY COOKING CLASS

This tour will create the real local touch to daily life activities of Hanoi just happened in
early morning that cannot be found by other times during the day. You need to start at
5:00 AM from hotel to be on time at the biggest whole sales flower market in town. You
will get to the market by the most busy and exciting time around 5:30 AM, when most of
the vendors from city coming here for buying the flower from the market, putting the
flowers on the bamboo basket on the back of their bike for whole day selling around the
city. The image of women wearing conical hat selling flowers on the basket on the
bicycle is the unique feature of Hanoi for very long time.
Then, from the market, we will drive along the dike to get to the scenic Lake of Hoan
Kiem. There is the opportunity for the energetic to join with the locals in some Tai Chi
class by the lake then take the walk around the lake to witness how the thousands of local
people doing their own exercise in very scenic place in the city with fresh air and
beautiful atmosphere as well as socializing with their friends. The walk will end up at a
Lake Side Coffee and from there you can see how the day started with the local residents

GALA DINNER AT HANOI OPERA HOUSE

The "temple" was founded in 1070 by Emperor Ly Thanh Tong
for worshiping to old education system, and is dedicated to the
Chinese philosopher Confucius. Now it is considered as the
central of culture for Hanoi city.
On arrival the temple is lit in a backdrop of soft light and
religious colors. Guests are greeted to the sounds of festival
drums with ladies in Ao Dai's to escort the group up the stairs,
lit by torches and candles, through to the main courtyard.
Colored lanterns light the courtyard and during the sumptuous
catered dinner of traditional Vietnamese cuisine, guests are

cities in Asia to travel.
Located on the bank of Thu Bon River 30 kilometers south of Danang, this is a
quiet riverside town dotted with temples, shrines and Chinese style tile-roofed

ride just like the movie. The cyclo trip took around 50 minutes and ends at the green canal covers by water coconut, and you can

The boat will take you toward to Cua Dai, where the river flows to the see. There are many special and big fishing nets of local people

idea of operating cooking class in Hoi An. She
has been featured in over 20 newspapers,
magazines and documentaries demonstrating
the subtle art of Vietnamese cooking. Her
passion for sharing her family recipes and
secrets inspires and encourages us to dive into
the kitchen and get cooking.
The cooking class included the visit of local
market with chief for the great learning of herb
and material will be used in cooking class and
witness the real daily life of local people in Hoi
An. At the market you will learn to choose the
best and freshest ingredients, and learn about
the foods and utensils you will encounter.
The class will be part participation and part
demonstration and you will see different
methods for creating each dish. You will
personally prepare most of the dishes you will
eat. In this session Mr. Vi will share with you
many of her personal experiences in cooking as
well as from her life in Hoi An.

SHOPPING TOUR IN HOI AN
For the shopaholics, Hoi An is a bargain hunters joy. Hoi An is renowned for its wonderful tailors. Walk in and select the pattern and
material, the tailor will measure you and the finished product will normally be ready within 24 hours. A variety of other traditional
Vietnamese handicrafts can be found. Wandering around the quiet streets of Hoi An window shopping or collecting some wonderful
souvenirs will surely be an afternoon to remember. Upon drop off in the market, a meeting point and time will be arranged for return
to the hotel.

Tra Que is a small village being distant about three kilometers
from the North - East of the old town, located at the bank of Tra
Que lagoon. With the diligent nature, the locals have been being
hard - working for a long time to bring about a green vegetable
village not only provide Hoi An with fresh one but also
consumed at markets nearby areas. All the herb and vegetable
here were grown in traditional and organic way on the half-sand
soil.
Travel to Tra Que Organic Village after taking the walk
around the village and vegetable garden, you will have the
experience as the farmer to work on their garden, get to know
about all the herb and vegetable growing in the village. Learn
how to make the organic fertilizer from river weed.
Arriving at local family in the village, we have a chance to
freshen up before beginning our class. Working together with
our Family Chef we learn the traditional ways of preparing
and cooking Vietnamese food from scratch. Using the freshest
ingredients and traditional Vietnamese utensils (still in use
today) we cook 4 famous dishes. After the class we sit down
and a chance to savor the dishes we have prepared.
EXPERIENCING AT TRA QUE VILLAGE AND COOKING CLASS

MARBLE MOUNTAINS & CHAM MUSEUM TOUR
Visit the Cham Museum in Danang, once centre
of the ancient Cham civilisation. Hindu in
origin, the Cham people left a legacy of excellent
sculptures, now housed in the only museum of if
its kind in Danang, as they were pushed south by
the advancing Vietnamese invaders. This is one
of two world classed museum in Vietnam.
Continue to the Marble Mountains. Nestled
just a short distance from both Danang city and
Hoi An, the five rocky outcrops known as the
Marble Mountains are said to represent the five
natural elements and are the source of all manner
of legends.
The climb to the top is via stairs cut from stone,
and as you weave your way toward a spectacular
view of the Vietnam's coast and the South China
Sea beyond you will stop to visit many of the
temples and caves en-route, once even used as an
army hospital! On route, you will visit a local
Marble factory where you will see skilled
artisans carving all manner of statues from
marble formally sourced locally at the
mountains' base.

Your tour will begin with an early
afternoon drive from Danang/Hoi An
through 60 km of rolling countryside,
passing through small towns with markets
in full swing, often journeying alongside
the wide reaches of the Han River.
As you draw closer to My Son, which
translates literally as "Beautiful Mountain"
you will take about 200m walk through
lush hillsides, trees and brush, before
emerging into the main site. There were
over 70 classic Cham Towers at My Son
that were constructed by the unique
technique of Cham people without using
any motars. This used to be holy land of
Champa Kingdom for worshiping to
Hinduism and Champa King from 4th to
13th century. Set against the backdrop of
the appropriately named Cat's Tooth
Mountain, they would then have been an
awesome sight. My Son was recognized as
Cultural World Heritage Site by
UNESSCO in 1999.
MY SON TOUR

Hue was the last capital of feudal system in
Vietnam from 1802 to 1945 before moving
back to Hanoi.
The city is just like a big museum that you can
see the relics from old time at every corner of
the streets. Many of the pavilions, bridges,
libraries and great halls are now being carefully
restored with help from UNESCO. Marvel at
the legends of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors
who built the fortress and lived within its
moated walls for nearly 150 years.
Upon arrival to Hue, discover Dong Ba
Market and the hidden area of Hue around the
citadel on the Cyclo before visiting the
Imperial Citadel. After lunch in authentic local
restaurant, visit other highlights of Hue such as
the tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu
Pagoda, the symbol of Hue city. On the way
back, take a walk around Kim Long Village
where you can visit the original ancient house
of the former mandarin, mingle with local
people and experience their daily activities in
the village before driving back to Danang.
FULL DAY TOUR TO THE ANCIENT CITY OF HUE

Besides its glorious beaches, Danang is famed for the
birth of the Cham civilization in the 2nd Century.
Despite the passing of time and the expansion of
Vietnamese society and influences the city remains
host to the delightful open air Cham Museum – the
only one of its kind in the world. The stonework
and sculptures housed in this museum show an
influence of ancient art and religion that has long
faded from present day Vietnam. The museum was
built by the French in 1915 and houses the exhibits
take from the architectural site of My Son, today
recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
We wander along the frangipani lined entrance way
to meet a professor of Cham sculpture who will
guide the group through the different periods of the
Champa kingdom before we retire for cocktails and
canapés with traditional musicians to entertain.
Enjoy dinner in the new theater area of the museum
whist being entertained by traditional Hue Troup
including Cham dancers who will perform for our
entertainment. The dance is exotic and rare, as there
are few individuals in modern day Vietnam that can
lay claim to knowing the intricacies of this faded
culture.

in Hoi An with music and singing. The setting will bring this area back to old

Chinese community in Saigon. Upon arrival, See Cha Tam Church where President Diem sought refuge shortly before his
assassination in 1963 then visit the impressive Thien Hau Temple dedicated to the goddess of the seas, who is said to protect fishermen
and sailors. Take a walk along an old street lined up with the last remaining colonial style houses in Saigon before visiting Binh Tay
market – the biggest whole sales market in town built by Chinese community and the surrounding area, which bustles with trading
activity. Before returned back to the hotel, you will have a good chance to learn about the wonders of Chinese medicine in a very
unique herbal museum honoring famous Vietnamese physicians from 12th to 18th centuries.
SAIGON CHINA TOWN EXCURSION

Only 10 minutes from the heart of Saigon, L'Apothiquaire, Spa &

L'APOTHIQUAIRE SPA & RETREAT

The Cu Chi area is famous for its 200 kilometer network of underground tunnels, which were used by the Viet Cong forces to fight
against both the French and later the Americans.
Most tunnels were only 60-70 centimeters wide and 1.5 meters high, with thick roofs capable of withstanding the weight of tanks or
the impact of bombs weighing up to 100 kilograms. The Viet Cong used them as a base from which they could launch strategic attacks
on the Americans and then seemingly disappear. Unknowingly, the Americans even built a base camp on top of an existing tunnel
network, suffering extensive casualties until they discovered their mistake.
The tunnel entrances are well hidden. Many rooms have been opened and ventilated so that you can more easily experience the
underground meeting rooms, kitchen, hospital and sleeping areas. More adventurous tunnel explores can experience an unlit tunnel
passage which has not been enlarged for the comfort of visitors!
EXCURSION TO THE CU CHI TUNNEL

Until the 16th Century the Mekong
Delta was an area of marshland and
forest. Gradually marshland was
reclaimed and a canal network built so
that, nowadays, the people make a
reasonable living from rice, fish,
soybeans, maize, peanuts, tobacco,
melons etc. The Cai Lay area is famous
for it's' coconut palms and fruit orchards
(mangoes, longans, bananas and citrus
fruits) and more than this, it still
untouched by the traveler and will
provide you the real experience of truly
Mekong Delta.
Arrive to Cai Lay, you will take a
peaceful boat trip along the branch of
Mekong River, strolling along the small
and green path along the rural area of
Mekong Delta, take the sampan ride to
visit the local orchard and sample the
best fruit in Mekong right in the garden
with hospitable host and enjoy the
typical lunch from Mekong Delta in the
ancient house before coming back to
Saigon.

Tonight we prepare a formal gala dinner in the large interior rooms of the Presidential Palace, the location where Vietnamese history
was made three decades ago. Once guests arrive at the gates of the Presidential Palace the driveway will be lined with traditional
Vietnamese lanterns help by Vietnamese ladies in traditional costume. On arrival at the front steps of the Palace Ho Chi Minh's
famous military brass band will provide a very presidential welcome.
Guests will walk down from the main entrance to the reception area. After being greeted by gorgeous, smiling receptionists in
traditional 'Ao Dai' costumes, guests can enjoy an hour of pre-dinner cocktails in the expansive lobby area, while appreciating the
background melodies produced by a skilled string quartet. During this time, guests can take a tour of the palace alongside our well-
informed guides.
Guests will then be escorted into the main hall and served a delicious banquet of Vietnamese Cuisine with entertainment provided by
