Senior python developer at “​ivi.ru​” LLC
December 2012 – Present (3 years 1 month). Moscow, Russian Federation
I joined the www.ivi.ru r&d team after "Netstream" company was acquired by it's former
client. Main responsibilities includes: implementation of business requirements, code
reviews, job interviews.
Major projects:
­ Mobile API. I've developed much of APIs endpoints, including some billing (iOS server
side). I've made API daemon scalable, reliable and disposable, that made possible heavy
load growth during the last three years. At the moment (end of 2015) mobile api makes only
one backend for all traffic (exclude media). A lot of features developed and launched at
production.
­ Content and media management system. I've completed rewrote media encoding facility to
enhance speed and drop cost of new media formats and drms integrations. In mid 2014 I
processed through CWIP certification at widevine (part of google). I've developed widevine
classic and modular solutions integration. I've developed integration of Microsoft PlayReady
drm as part of the team. I've supported the admin interface of the www.ivi.ru platform.
­ Authentication system. I've developed the framework for daemon. Made social networks
login and registration flows. I've Integrated it with mobile API.
­ Advertising system. Minor improvements and business features.
­ Reports. I've made second generation of reports subsystem: developed business critical
reports such as royalty fees, amortisation and etc, mostly sql based.
­ User generated data systems. Minor features.
­ Billing server. User accounts merge. Mobile api integration.
