Description The Cisco Connected Industries business unit was created to help customers
realize the benefits of the transition to Ethernet and IP in manufacturing plants.
The Cisco IE 2000 industrial switch is the developed in collaboration with
Rockwell Automation. IE3000 is next higher version of industrial switch with
some more features.
The Cisco IE 2000/3000/4000/5000/3010 industrial switches have support for
Ethernet /IP based on the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) and PROFINETv2 -
allowing integration with existing platforms from Rockwell, Siemens, and other
industrial protocols.

Understanding the requirements of the new feature development.
Responsible for proposing the low level and high level design for the feature.
