PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Internship at Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), DRDO, Government of India. December 2013
• Worked in a team to study the performance measures on different types of electrical type transducers of different
manufactures.
• Calibrated the sensors for analysing their resistance patterns and deviation effects in controlled load applications.
• Evaluated the performance measures like accuracy, sensitivity and linearity’s of the transducers and approved them for
testing in static and dynamic load applications.
PROJECTS:
Detailed Material Resource planning and Process Improvement for Med Assist Corp facility using Witness software.
Spring 2016
• Designed and Optimized the Receiving, Log In, Repair & Reconditioning lines (assembly lines) and Shipping areas of
Med Assist facility.
• Optimized using Continuous Improvement methods, routed the material flow as per the requirements with Capacity
planning for each phase of the facility.
• Financial Analysis for cost control of the Resource requirements. Calculated MARR for a span of six years for
generating the unit processing cost. Documentation of layout of the facility and its details.
Material Handling system and Facilities design of ABC Inc. Fall 2015
• Collaborated with a team to evaluate various picking operations like RF picking, Voice picking, PTL method and G2P
methods.
• Financial Analysis on Material handling systems and labor profiles for the current and suggested picking operations.
Regression Analysis to predict success of films using SAS Programming. Spring 2015
• Worked in a team environment performing simple and multiple linear regression analysis on predicting the success of
films.
• Used SAS software for analysing the data, variances (ANOVA), Multicollinearity and outliers for forecasting purposes.
Evaluation of Value adding and Non-Value adding activities and Implementation of JIT principles. Spring 2015
• Performed a time study on daily activities of the team and analysed value adding and non-value adding activities.
• Implemented Just in Time principles to optimize the total time spent on the activities.
Implementation of Balanced Score Card and Work Definition Break Down Methodology. Spring 2015
• Coordinated a team in developing Balanced Score card for a local Restaurant to analyse the areas of improvement and
performance metrics.
• Created work definition brake down for certain key tasks in the Restaurant for better understanding of the process.
Production and Inventory control for McDonald’s Restaurant. Fall 2014
• Worked in a team in implementing Kanban in the McDonald’s by implementing weighing system to determine the
inventory levels.
• In Project Report explained in detail all the supply chain and JIT scenario’s used by Macdonald’s from its ordering phase
to getting things on time.
Economic Analysis and evaluation using engineering economic principles. Fall 2014
• Forecasted financial parameters of next fifteen years of my life and generated data sheets for economic analysis.
• Calculated MARR, cash flows and Internal rate of returns including taxation policies for evaluation of the forecasted
data.
Development of Automatic Sensor Calibration and its Data Sheet using Lab VIEW: March 2014
• Designed an automatic calibration system using NI Lab VIEW for interfacing the sensors to the system for calibration.
• Developed an application to evaluate and generate statistical reports with graphs about the sensor health before and after
their calibration automatically.
Hazard analysis, impacts and control:
• Studied and presented different industrial hazards with their control measures, safety producers (OSHA, NIOSHA) and
Engineering standards.
Achievements: University silver medal, B.E EIE, Merit, SCSVMV University, India.
