1. Co-owner of Squeeze In and Nevada alumni
Shila Morris believes "the core of Squeeze
In is love and acceptance, we love our
Egghead Nation." When Shila was a
little girl, she and her parents would often
dine at the Squeeze In in Truckee,
California. The food there was so delicious
that she and her parents would often lie
awake at night dreaming about owning their
own Squeeze In. Shila's parents
were offered the chance to buy the Squeeze
In, and in 2003 they became proud
owners of the Truckee Squeeze In.
The warmth and busy atmosphere when stepping into Squeeze In makes you feel welcomed as a guest. Shila
and her family feel it's important to have Squeeze In be a part of their guests' experience, because the guests
made Squeeze In's journey possible. Squeeze In is known for their hearty breakfasts and amazing 67 omelette
entrées. In 2010, Squeeze In was hosted on Food Network's Throw Down with Bobby Flay where their
signature omelette "The Racy Tracy" was put against Bobby Flay's "The Spanish Fly". He said, "They
were the nicest family to have ever thrown down." Squeeze In has been in operation for 41 years and
currently has three locations in the Reno area. The next time you are looking for a hot breakfast, stop by
a Squeeze In to indulge in some of the love.
