Marketing BA in PNG Studies & IR
1. Some tips or suggestion to help you in your planning:
1. Note the purpose of the open day. From my understanding the day is to be used to market our
program to the public.
2. Think of the unique elements of our program and the university you can use to help sell the idea
that the BA in PNG Studies and International Relations is a wonderful program. For example;
use of online tools like Moodle, Moodle forum, Moodle glossary, Moodle wiki, Moodle quiz,
Turnitin, Twitter and etc…
3. No need to use charts to explain in detail theories and concepts like previous years. Just have the
units there and if they ask about what you learn in those units than you can mention the theories
and concepts.
4. When marketing the program the units and strands are the important elements.
5. Apart from monitors for display we have the TV screen and DVD player. You can make videos
using Camtasia.
