Highlights<br />The Vision Group on BT headed by Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw has recommended setting up of sector specific parks in tier II and III cities.<br />The Government has decided to set up a Neuti-Neutraceuitcal Park and Phyto-Pharmaceutical Park in Mysore.<br />Marine Biotech Park in Mangalore, Agri-tech Park in Dharwad and Animal House in Bidar<br />

KEONICS, a government undertaking, is entrusted with the job of developing IT parks in Mysore, Mangalore, Shimoga and Gulbarga.<br />Xchanging Technology Services Ltd., the U.S., would be setting up its operations in six acres of land in Shimoga.<br />Steps have been taken for opening 20 rural BPOs in different parts of the State.<br />
