Vanderlan Jr. began his career in go-karts in 1989 at age 9, winning his first championship that same year. Over the next 7 years he won 6 go-kart championships. In 1997 he began racing in the Formula Chevrolet series in Brazil, being named rookie of the year. From 1999-2002 he raced in the Barber Dodge Pro Series in the US, getting his first podium in Portland, OR. From 2003-2006 he raced in the Formula Renault 2000 series in Italy, being voted revelation of the year in 2003. Now he wants to pursue a career as a stuntman in action movies using his high-performance driving skills.

Radcheck came to Vanderlan Jr. to join
the Series and the hole group from
Dodge USA Race Performance Team.
The 1st Podium came in Portland - OR
race .
The dream be came true. Racing in USA
and working 24/7 as a Professional
Race Car Driver .
In 2000, the driver “toked the seat” to
be the Official Developer of Tires and
Electronic Components from Dodge
High Performance USA Team.

6. ITALY - EUROPE
2003 TO 2006
FORMULARENAULT2000-ITALY
A phone call from Vanderlan Jr.’s friend,
Felipe Massa, a Ferrari F-1 Driver make
his plans change for next years .
He was invited to race for a Italian
Formula Renault 2000 Team for 2 years.
Voted by the Renault Official Coach’s
and Renault Official Drivers Academy as
Piloti Rivelazione del Anni de 2003, he
decide to stay in Europe for few more
years to be the Potenza Michelin Tires
and AIM Electronics Devices of High
Performance for Renault Series .
In 2007, Vanderlan Jr. move to Brazil
to develop a special fuel for Race Cars
and Airplanes for PETROBRAS OIL
BRAZILIAN Company .
That was more than 103 thousand
kilometers in 8 years using a Formula 3
monoposto Car “open wheel car”
That was a amazing experience to me!
