This project is an end to end implementation of Supply chain management on oracle R12. The project scope is
to transform Supply Chain process of Shipping Execution and Logistics process from 11i to Oracle R12.It also
involves customizing the oracle shipping execution process based on the client requirements which includes
the customizing the following areas of shipping execution using pl/sql programs to meet the Cisco needs:
Route Inquiry, Shipment notification, Sub-inventory transfer, Delivery Creation, Trip Creation, VT check and
Pick Release, Shipping documentation, Ship confirmation.
It also involves developing reports like On-time shipment reports, Lead time acceptance report which are
used for month end –quarter end analysis.

Client: Arrow Electronics –Asset Operations
Description: This project majorly deals with item creation and maintenance and part search.
a. The part search in Arrow consists of integrated multi-level search ability for items based on rules, logic and
performance which cannot be met by standard Oracle Part Search functionality. Hence there is a need to
build a custom search workbench. The part search framework utilizes an external search engine FAST in order
to enhance search performance. The source of these data is within the EBS In order to provide correct and
updated results during search the external search engine should be in sync with the EBS data. PLSQL

3. program is developed to sync the data from EBS to FAST tables. I have worked on various enhancements and
defects which included fetching various PLM and MTL attributes from EBS to fast tables, improving the
performance of the existing program, on the part service changes to display the columns in the proxy.
b. Item creation and updating the various attributes is achieved by processing the supplier price list and item
attributes into the Item Master and Item Validation Organizations .WEB ADI and PLSQL program is
developed to cater the same.
c. Item category assignment: The ability to automatically assign items to selected categories based on
business rules. I have worked on various enhancements and defects.
d. Item organization assignment: It specifies business requirements for assigning item to inventory
organization and modeling the requirement in the Oracle ERP.I have worked on enhancements.
e. Item Cross reference: can be used to maintain relationship between item and other entities, such as old
item number or supplier part number. In Arrow, there are item related business events that trigger
notifications and/ or route pre-defined key item attributes to the roles responsible for providing values for
these attributes. In standard Oracle, there is no feature available for bulk uploading/ creating Item cross
references. Item Cross Reference has an interface table that supports bulk creation but uploading data into
the interface table and processing is not user friendly. I have worked on its primary enhancements and
defects.
f. Item status change: To automate the updates of certain user defined and Standard attribute values upon
change of Item status and the ability of the system to prevent the item status becoming “Removed” when on
hand quantity exits in system. I have worked on many enhancements and defects.
g. Generating reports on customer items: Generating an Environmental Compliance report and exporting the
data based on a customer BOM file or all items shipped by Arrow to the customer. This report needs to
display the substances that are commonly referred as SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern) and the
RoHS data for the list of items in customer file. This report undergone enhancements and I have worked on
numerous enhancements and defects.
h. Worked on defect and enhancement fixes in various other components like issues in OAF pages related to
PCN creation, Part Number Second Segment Restructuring, Propagation of item attribute changes from
IVO's to IO's etc

transformation of the data based on the oracle standards, and then calling the oracle Interface program to
move the data from SIT tables to oracle base tables.
