A goal of the UW Potato Breeding Program is to develop genetically superior  High Yield, Yield: High, similar or higher than Dark Red Norland

Objectives:
• Development of fresh market and storage red clones as alternatives Norland and
Dark Red Norland.
• Development of fresh market and storage yellows clones as alternatives to Yukon
Gold.
• Development of specialty clones to contribute to the offer of varieties adapted to
WI growing and storage conditions within this category.

growers and packers participation.  Yellow flesh variety with smoother than Yukon Gold & bright skin texture
