An event planner plays several roles:
An event planner’s profession requires a variety of skill sets. The needed attribute is determined by the stage in which they are
with their client. Communication skills are employed, for example, while meeting with a customer in the hopes of winning that
piece of business. You know, you only have one shot at making a good first impression.

organize or arrange an event while

Decision-Making Skills:
The work is not for individuals who are incapable of
making judgments. Event planners are frequently
called upon to make on-the-spot decisions that
might have a significant impact on the event itself.
An event planner collaborates with several vendors. And
they are frequently called upon to bargain on their real
estate loan. Anyone who has been involved in negotiations
understands that it is a skill. Tyler Matkowski says that
negotiation is not a “my way or the highway” mentality
(some of our politicians could take note here). Negotiation,
on the other hand, is the capacity to establish a
compromise in which both parties feel they have
accomplished a portion of what they set out to do.

mentality does not function well
here. When effectively expressed,
leadership is a trait that makes
individuals want to work for you. A
competent leader understands
how to encourage their staff to
accomplish the required goals. In
my perspective, one of the most
difficult traits to build in someone
is leadership.
