2. - Hello and Welcome back to Instant City – a BaMC Challenge. Aww, look at that side, so many buildings, so many families…
well Servo households, too full to adopt children, so the population won‘t grow for a while… but the City is starting to take
shape, especially after moving the buildings closer together… -

3. -…. Of course, some sacrifices had to be made. While the Upper Street – I‘m calling the street on the mountain side Upper
street, and the stuff at the bottom Lower Streets now – have either no slopes or …reasonable slopes, the connection
between both streets… well… I’m not really sure how that car on the picture is able to still cling to the asphalt… of course it
could be worse…-

4. - … and it will be…. Muahahahaha …. Seriously, at this point, the only explanation how this car can travel along this road,
is that this is in fact Spider-Man’s Spider-Car that comes with a ‘change gravity’-device by the Fantastic Four… yes,
really. But now to this chapters Apartment lot – it‘s Studio Apartments made by CoolChenille at MTS.com – aaand CC
not withstanding, a little bit changed by me, as it now has a bigger garden, because this time, the money making
scheme will be – gardening… and of course I didn‘t really think that through with the plants taking so long and we‘re
closing in on winter…

- Please don‘t make me take out the hammer and destroy the computer, to prove you right… -

5. - … alright, aside this little quarrel, an apartment lot with a harvestable garden is actually a pretty nice idea, as the Landlord
will tend to the plants … to a certain degree, and sometimes more than you‘d like to, if you want to get your Sims a Garden
badge or for other reasons…. See for yourself… -

6. - … btw, I forgot to mention the usual ‚ I installed it without CC, because CC makes my game slow‘- monologue, which I
hereby did – the actual lot looks much nicer, but I can live with that… -

7. - … And this will be this weeks tormento… Landlord… yep, he‘s kinda a recurring character, as he’s the Landlord for several
apartment buildings by now… -

8. - … also, one last look at the…. Holy Moly … okaay…. Now the street can be explained by Spider-Cars, but the sidewalk?
Spider-boots? Mr. Spocks rocket gear from Star Trek V? Freeclimbing anyone? -

9. - … however it is done, so far no flaming car wrecks or masses of corpses from people falling down from above have been
sighted… or perhaps it happened, and the household turned the remnants into dung…. Hm… okay, did you do that? –
‚This is ridiculous and you know it!‘
- … well yeah... –
‚ I mean think about it – human bodies concentrate so many poisons in them… that‘s not a good dung at all! We should like
build a factory, where they could first be cleansed before we….‘
- This conversation is over! –
‚ pfft, baby…‘

10. - … okay, so the household immediately started planting… and the Landlord for the first time did something useful by
starting to water the plants… then again, watering the plants raises the Gardening Badge too , so – go away Landlord! -

11. ‚… ah, don‘t be so mean to him… one day he‘ll make good dung…‘
- … I already regret making that joke, so stop it! –
‚ That was a joke? Wow, you‘re bad at this…‘

12. - … yeez, the things I have to keep up with… -
‚Tell me about it, the Servo who had to move seventeen times by now…‘
- Oh, shut up…-
‚Wow, this city is awesome… a free rock-climbing parcour? I love it here… Go, I-C, I-C, go…‘
‚ Is it just me, or does anyone in this so-called city become dumber by the day?‘

13. - …. And with TCO gone, after the planting we really started gardening by spraying the first bugs… not ladybugs, because
that wouldn‘t allow enough opportunities to raise gardening badges… to be honest, all this planting, watering, weeding,
spraying… it‘s really difficult to maintain a garden… -

14. - … and that‘s why the household just left this thing just to itself for now and instead made a little trip into the city… -

15. - …. With the usual dating… at least we don‘t have to make any friends for a career… -

16. -… of course, all kinds of ridiculous wants were thrown, like wanting a drink at the bar… you‘re fortune, not pleasure,
dummies… -

17. ‚ Can we at least make out on the bar then?‘
- Do you ask that to get permission, or just to make fun of me? –
‚Both.‘
- …. Suit yourself…-

18. - … and after messing up the bar, they messed up the charlatan by taking all his money at the poker table… now, I know
from past experience, that Mrs. Crumplebottom would leave anybody alone as long as there was a poker table in the room,
but she was a hardcore player, while this guy… seriously, I could place a brick there and he would hold off better than him -

19. - … oh anyway, the dating continued… -

20. - … till we finally had everyone up to Plat…

21. - … and returned, where, for the sake of keeping this the ‚gardening household‘ , but finally earn some money, I decided to
make use of the aspiration points earned by the dating by placing tons of money trees… too bad that watering and
harvesting these doesn‘t count for the Gardening Badge…-

22. - … also it is a pain to queue up the harvesting for these things one by one… but still, the sight of all these glowing guys is…
well I wish I had a money growing tree forest… without fear of being charged with counterfeiting, that is… -

23. - …meanwhile the usual dating rewards rolled in, befitting the plants theme this chapter… a note of warning, never wait
to long with the Dating partner to deliver roses and don‘t exit and reenter the game later, because this somehow
screws up the ‚place the roses‘ animation, the Sim will continue placing the roses down over and over… quite an
annoyance… in other words: PUT THESE ROSES DOWN, THIS IS LIKE THE 10th TIME YOU DO THIS ANIMATION!...-
‚But I have to place it perfect, to show how much I enjoyed this…‘

24. - After that, the garden needed further watering - and spraying …. You know, it‘s actually sad that Servos can‘t turn into
Plantservos, that would be interesting… -

25. -…finally, everything was watered… -

26. -… but soon the first weeds started to grow. I let it grow first so it became easier to remove them rather then to queue up
one action per weed…-
‚ Oooh, ‚weed´‘… can‘t we keep some of it…?‘
- … I meant ‚weed‘ as in ‚weed‘, not ‚weed‘ as in… you know what I mean… in any case, it is neither for smoking nor for
anything else, got that? –
‚Aww…‘

27. - … and then the first bronze badge popped… btw, so far only two Servos are tending to the garden, while the rest stays
inactivated, minus one who harvests the money trees… I did that, so the Badge can be earned in time, instead of spreading
it out between all the household members… -

28. -… thankfully, after what felt like an eternity (despite it‘s only the second day) the other bronze badge also appeared…-

29. -… at daylight, we had to do the first chipping… -

30. - … and then the problems really started – GO AWAY, LANDLORD, YOU CAN‘T COME IN HERE…-
‚ Oh, shiny…‘
- … yeah, I actually knew, that if you place a money tree somewhere, stupid NPC‘s will just enter the room and start
harvesting your money trees… but it‘s been a while since I had money trees…

31. - … so for now all I could do to was to out-harvest the guy… -

32. - … at least he also watered them afterwards… -

33. - … and when he finally left the room, I built a ‚counter‘-resistance for anymore illegal harvesting on the household ‚s
property…-

34. -… ehehe… yeah, you had your chance, greedy landlord, but now you can‘t come back in… -
‚Ehr, you know… I‘m kinda trapped myself right now… help?‘
- Oh don‘t worry, I do that with the other households all the time, trapping them inside… you‘ll get used to it… -

35. ‚Nuuuu… me wanna have shiney…‘
- … are you still there? -

36. - … so instead the guy decided, that it was time to pester the gardeners outside… -
‚Let me help you…‘
‚NO! I need that weed! I need it!‘
- *AHEM*-
‚…for… for my gardening badge, of course…‘

37. - … and a silver gardening badge he did get, by weeding out that weed… -
‚… *snif* my weed…‘
- … let me spell it out for you: this-is-not-mar… a drug! Also, you‘re a Servo, so how would you smoke it anyway? –
- ‚… oh.‘

38. - … meanwhile, the greedy landlord still tried to get to the money trees… -
‚Pleease, just one of the shiny…‘
- NO! -

39. - … though he wasn‘t the only one… -
‚Hey perhaps we can work together, making a leg-up and climb over this counter…‘
‚Great idea! Okay, make a leg-up and I‘ll climb over…‘
‚What? Why you? It was my idea, so I‘m gonna climb over and you…‘
‚No, I will…‘
‚No, I!‘
- …. And so on… -

40. - … meanwhile, Serva P-1 also got her Silver Badge… , also weeding out weed... And don‘t you dare smoke it…!..-

41. -… eventually, all the efforts made resulted in a first harvest… ah, look at the ripe juice oranges…-
‚Meh… I‘d have preferred weed…‘
- YOU…!-
‚Joke, Joke…!‘
- …. Haha, I‘m laughing, haha…-

42. - … soon, even more popped up, some not as ripe as the other as the less orange color suggested… -
‚ It‘s not that we will eat them anyway… or drink them…‘
- Yes, but the riper, the more they can be sold for, and while the money trees have given you a little reserve so far… -
‚What do you want with the money anyway?‘
- Buy Community businesses and pay the bills and rent, then I can keep you deactivated without bothering playing all of
you… -
‚You monster…‘

43. - … despite the moping, Serva P-1 finally got her Gold Gardening badge, which would allow to talk to and with that keep all
the plants in great shape and produce very good harvests and therefore more money…

44. - … also, more to harvest… -

45. - … and Servo P-1 followed soon after with his Gold Badge. Now with these both being Master Gardeners, I switched them
off and let another group take their place as gardeners….. -

46. -… With Servo and Serva P-2 now working towards the next Badges.. -

47. - … some dating inbetween, to keep spirits high… -

48. -… and soon we got the first bronze badge here… it doesn‘t feel like it’s taking so long anymore, if the plants are bigger and
it actually looks like we‘re making progress and not just shoveling mud… -

49. - … same worked for Servo P-2… -

50. - … and soon there was even more to harvest… unfortunately, the fruits didn‘t looks as healthy this time, especially the
apples… -

51. - … the lemons a bit better… if life gives you lemons… -
‚ …. Run amok?‘
- Don‘t you dare! -

52. - Let‘s also take a look at our brave heroine Serva P-3, who all this time stayed indoors, harvesting money tree after money
tree… she earned 5000 Simoleons with that , meaning, that she harvested roughly 125 times by now…-

53. - … though eventually, all the money tree harvesting became tiring – and also we‘ve earned 40.000 with… so for now I put
all 54 monetrees in her inventory, to be taken out, if there would another need for more money arise… -

54. - … also, Serva P-2 got her silver gardening badge… -

55. -… Servo P-2 too… -

56. -… and they became best friends forever as well, which allowed to send them on one more really micromanaging date… -

57. -… also, we finally got ripe tomatoes… since tomatoes are the first thing that could be planted, all these plants are
tomatoes, of course… -

58. - … and once harvested, we immediately prepared for new seedlings… -

59. -… and literally 15 seconds, after winter had set in, both got their Gold Badges for Gardening in a t almost the same time… -
‚You know, with winter so close , it might have been a bad idea, to put seedlings in already…‘
- Oh don‘t worry, the harvest doesn‘t care about the snow, I tested that… also don‘t concern yourself with that, because
the 4 remaining servos without badges will take on the work from now…-
‚Poor devils…‘
- Yeah, well my burden isn‘t an easy either, I still have chapters for Fall left, so I better go write them now…thanks for
