2. - And once again, it‘s time for Instant City – a BaMC-Challenge. This time it‘s Household J‘s turn – so, are you ready for
Adventure? –
‚ Ah, I get it… we have 12 households now, so you can place a museum, so a job opening in the adventure career will open
up…‘
- Great, now you‘ve ruined the surprise, TCO… -

3. - Oh well never mind… todays‘ Apartment lot is ‚The Mews‘ by Wolfsim68 at TSR.com. This building is actually part of an
entire set of residential and community lots of Wolfsim68‘s ‚Stoneyville‘ Neighborhood, all made without even a single
piece of CC. I especially liked the Community lots, as they are a great inspiration of how to build an interesting
Community business … -
‚Do you get paid for this advertising or what?‘
- No, but I acknowledge it if someone spent a lot of time and effort to build something as impressive as this. –
‚ This is… actually commendable… okay, moving in…‘

4. ‚ Sign here please…‘
‚Okay… hey, haven‘t I seen you before at another apartment?‘
‚Oh yes, The Landlord association of Instant City has actually put me in charge of several apartment complexes for our beautiful
city…‘

Huh? Sorry, I blinked out for a second here, what did you say?’’
‘…nothing, except that I’m getting increasingly annoyed at being abused for silly exposition concerning the existence of landlords…’

7. - … the Stoneyville museum, also made by Wolfsims68 at TSR.com. Now that‘s a museum if I‘ve ever seen one… -

9. - … and the inside ist nicely decorated. We have an Oceanographic section, a greek one I think… -

11. - … and a tropical , mountain and far east department. So in case you‘re looking for a museum for yourBaCC-Challenge,
look no further, because this ist it! -

20. - … next a short visit to the mountain section, where unfortunately a bigfoot is not part of the exhibition, as that would
be animal abuse… -

- … well, except you – happy now? Why are you even reading this, anyway? –

21. - … back to the story: the medieval/victorian section ist definitely worth a visit too… -

22. - … and we‘ve already seen the Egyptian section … -

23. - … but not the Indian section… also, this guy here is not a runaway from the astronomy section, as that would actually
make sense, but just a random guy wearing an astronaut suit, which makes no sense at all… -

24. - … okay, okay admittedly, this visit to museum serves of course also the purpose to get the friendship count for the
adventure career up… -

25. - … but you have to admit, it really is a looker… oh and I guess, I have to retract my statement that this is the greek section…
on a second look, it looks more like the magic land section – and after all, magic does exist in this game, so giving magic a
room in the museum makes – you guessed it – sense! -

26. - … or perhaps this is actually the Greek and not the Roman section, I‘m not sure…? -

27. -… oh well, as long as these question will help me padding out these pictures… -

28. - … I don‘t mind… by the way, the only thing I might need to nitpick in the oceanic section are the windows, that look a bit
silly on the Outside of the building… -

29. -… but now to my personal favorite room by looks: the Mayan section… or is it Aztec or Inca? … -

42. - … and then it‘s another chance card: the popular deep see explorer, Pierre Le Nebuleux, discoverer of several sunken
ships, which carried Gold and tasty salted goods, vanished at the beginning of this Century . The Ministry of Adventure
finally wants to know, what happened to him. Le Nebuleux probably vanished under mysterious circumstances and
Servo J-4 will need all the help to solve the mystery. The ministry however can only pay for one more team member.
Should Servo J-4 take a Sonar technician or just one more diver with him? –
‚Sonar covers more ground – I‘ll take him!‘

43. - … The waters, where Le Nebuleux probably got lost, are wide and deep, therefore Servo J-4 decides, that a Sonar
technician would be more helpful. The technician soon tells Servo J-4, that he found something strange, and it‘s moving.
Servo J-4 dives down – in his scuba diving suit hopefully – lead by the directions the technician gives him. Suddenly he
discovers Le Nebuleux – in a submarine! Servo J-4 gives signs, to come to the surface, and a few minutes later the two
are discussing vividly about Le Nebuleux‘s life under water and the development tastey salted goods. Servo J-4‘s report
is so good, that even the TV takes notice and turns it into a movie. Servo J-4 receives 375 Simoleons! –
‚ Oh joy… all this work for less then my salary… do I get at least promoted now?‘

44. - … that was a stupid question… -
‚ Well , what else should I say to make a transition to the next page? Besides, you‘re the one making the dialogue…‘

45. - … oh hey, it‘s me! –
‚Wha..? No you‘re not!‘
- But of course it‘s me…. I mean my In-game avatar always wore this scuba helmet… ah, memories… -
‚ You are not – and even if you were,… *sigh*… I don‘t have time for this, I‘m going to work again, as this is getting too
silly…‘
‚May I have a say in this? As in: HELP ME, I‘m stuck in this suit and can‘t get out!‘

46. -… next chance … oh wait, that is the ‚the fish smells funny, should I eat it or not‘ fitness chance card that makes no sense
for Servos, last seen in Household C… yeah, not gonna eat that… -

47. - … money again paid by the restaurant to keep quiet about the accident… great, not even the chance card can save this
story from getting boring… -

48. - … but at least the promotion is funny …. *ahem* ARRRRH, matey… had lots of swashbuckling today, ARRRH? –
‚… Just because I‘m a pirate doesn‘t mean that I have to forget how to speak Simlish…‘

49. - … oh well, it‘s not that he stayed a pirate for long… oh, chance card: Servo J-4 stands on board his ship, the S.S.
Serpentia, gazing over the sea. Portside travels a luxurious cruise liner, probably carrying a lot of good food and drinks,
not to forget rich tourists. Starboard is a freighter, that might carry even more booty, though Servo J-4 can‘t be sure
about this. There isn‘t enough time to board more than one ship, so which should it be? –
‚ I go for the freighter! To the left!‘
- … it is not called left, it‘s called…. Wait , is starboard actually left? -

50. - … no, it isn‘t… *ahem* Servo H-4‘s Crew hasn‘t had anything good to eat for days, and the thought of jewel-wearing
rich people is just too good. ‚to Portside! (or actually ‚To the left‘ – thankfully the sailors understand…or rather not..) –
shouts Servo J-4, and Crew jumps into action. They hoist the Jolly Roger, and the Cruise liner immediately surrenders.
Servo J-4‘s crew boards the ship, eats all the food and drinks all the rum, and free the passengers from the weight of
their jewels, which they then give to the poor – really ? - The world applauds the benevolent pirates, and Servo J-4
receives 1200 Simoleons.
‘...Yo-ho-ho –hoho-, and a bottle of rum!’
- … you’re still an awful pirate… -

51. ‚ Pfft… like I care, because I‘m a Warhead Disarmer now…‘
- Wha…? I take it back, you were a wonderful pirate… but a warhead Disarmer? This could turn all of Instant City into a
crater…! –
‚Ha-de-Ha! Look, I‘ve been promoted every time I go to work, so I wont stay a disarmer for long… ‚
- *phew* -
‚Of course, I could fail to get promoted unless I get a break…‘
- … I see… okay, I guess that means… -

52. - Vacation! –

53. - Like the other Households, we‘re gonna a vacation home for, in this case, since this household hasn‘t made so little
money – shame on you… -

-… the cheaper Brick stone Retreat that has no beach – shame again… -
‚ H… oh forget it…‘

54. - … and then we‘re off again for the next 7 days. -

55. ‚ Aaaaah… this tropical sunlight is so much better than the sunlight at home…. This is the perfect place for Servos…‘
- Do you know, that in the tropics- at least I guess it‘s the tropics –you should actually be able to adjust your watch by the
rain? –
‚D‘Oh!‘

56. - And now it‘s digging time again, we need a map to the mysterious hut… -

57. - … and Servo J-2 finds one on the very first try, amazing! Maybe now we can…-

59. - … anyway, now that we have the map, let‘s go to the witch doctor, repair his appliances… -
‚Wow, best secret vacation spot ever! I’ve heard horror stories about the Nerd in Far East and the evil Yeti in…‘

60. - ... Then get the voodoo doll… -

61. - … and then try it again with the rest of the group… I had somehow hoped, the lot would kinda ‚reset‘ like the other lots,
where you can always meet bigfoot and always hear the dragon legend… but no luck here, the repaired objects stay
repaired, and the witch doctor doesn‘t hand out anymore voodoo dolls…oh well, live and learn… -

62. - … so instead we took a trip to the Twikki Beach Boardwalk, where I actually only intended to do a short combing in the
sand to get the ‚found shells‘ vacation memento… -

63. - … but then found out, that with 8 Servos, combing for sea shells is a really great way to earn money! Every item you find is
worth 430 Simoleons, and while being totally unfit for digging, combing for shells right next to the beach doesn‘t seem to
bother Servos at all…. Okay, you still need to do a lot of micromanaging to queue up the combing action… -

64. - … and don‘t forget to recharge them during the day... But still, the seashell business is actually quite profitable…-
‚ I thought this was a vacation…‘
-… okay, let‘s do some vacation stuff on the side… -

65. - … like learning how to firedance… -

66. - … or eat something… wait a… is that another Komei Cook? –

67. - … oh well, next memento: go on a trip, complete with… *shuddder*… the dreaded vacation chance cards… -

68. -…unfortunately, the vehicles don‘t look as interesting as they did in Takemizu or Three Lakes… just purple… -

69. - … by the way, one household member that didn’t go on the trip was Serva J-2, who was learning instead the fire dance… -

70. - … and therefore was spared from… The chance card!: the glass boat sails over a beautiful coral reef, as it suddenly hits a
rock, which damages the glass at the bottom of the boat. Water is getting in. What should the group do: close the holes
with bubble gum or with their hands? –
‚ EEK! Water! Don‘t let it come close you, use the Bubblegum instead!‘
-… you do realize, that without a mouth chewing the bubblegum first, putting it there wouldn‘t really hel… oh never mind…-

71. - The passengers start closing the holes with bubble gum. Unfortunately, a swarm of little fishes are just swimming
across, and bubble gum is their favorite food. While they happily munch on the bubble gum, the passengers have to
wade through the knee deep water to the shore, which doesn‘t really lighten the mood. –
‚BOO! This sucks, I want a refund!‘

72. - … yep, I just have no luck with vacation chance cards… oh well, one more try… -
‚*SPRRZL*‘
- … what was that? -

73. ‚ *SPPRRRZL* *ZRRRT* *RRRRR* *STRXL*‘
- oops… apparently, the last fun drain was too much for Serva J-1, you know the one who broke the water pipe at the
beginning… and she basically ran amok around the whole lot… -

74. - … never stopping.. Oh right, the chance card: The helicopter just hovers over an active volcano - seriously ? – as the
pilot says something to the passengers, pointing at a panel with two buttons, then turns around again. The noise of the
motor is so loud, that nobody understood what he said and he doesn‘t react to questions either presumably because of
the noise as well. Which button should they press, the green or the red one?... Okay, everyone dies this time, right? –
‚What?!‘
-Oh please, everyone knows that the red button means ‚don‘t press!‘, and then everyone is enticed to press it and then
everyone… -‘
‚*presses green*‘

75. - …. Everyone is holding their breath, as the green button is pressed. To their relief it turns out that this was the button for
the air-conditioning system. This way, they can witness the hot action below while keeping their cool. Everyone receives a
mechanical point… - except those who already have 10… even if I have luck with these cards, I don‘t have any luck at all,
*sigh*… -

76. - … oh right, Serva J-1 continued their amok run, even getting into the water(!) and getting out again, literally for hours! Still
, she didn‘t die – at all! So apparently, an amok run doesn‘t seem to be deadly at all for Servos, just a nuisance… also, J-1
was the only Serva who got a ‚swim in the water‘ – memento on the trip… still, it was really difficult to get her back home,
after ordering everyone back, it took two to three hours till she finally left too… -

77. - … and finally calmed down back at the brick stone retreat… still, after taking up with her for so long, I got a bit impatient
and just went to the next community lot, in the hopes to shut her down in time and wait till it was morning to recharge
her… -

78. - … of course we went to the pirate ship, and of course she went rampant again… since she didn‘t die, I stopped caring and
instead let the others examine the ship… -

79. - … wake the ghost pirate up… -

80. - … and learn the shanty… ehr, Mr. Ghost pirate, it‘s morning, shouldn‘t you go back to sleep now? –
‚YAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRH!‘
- … was that a ‚no‘ or a ‚yes, but I‘m trapped in this animation and need HELP!‘…?... –

81. -…. Okay, after J-1 finally recovered and recharged, next stop were the ruins of Jumbok IV…-

82. - … and after everyone got his lava-foaming from the monkey-shrine, back to the beach… where we tried for the next few
days to get one of these locals to finally greet and ‚hang loose‘ with us… really, the Twikki greeting is probably the hardest to
get… -

83. - … we also did one more trip… -

84. - … and one more vacation chance card: During their boat trip, the tourists meet a boat of the diving school ‚Snorkeline‘.
They‘re out of gas and stuck. Should the tourists cancel their trip with the boat and trawl the diving school boat back to
the harbor, or invite the other group onto their boat? –
‚Why cancel our trip? Let‘s invite them, what could possibly go wrong?‘

85. - … due to the additional weight the boat sinks so deep, that the passengers have to shovel many buckets of water to
prevent it from sinking . When they finally return to the harbour, everyone is completely exhausted. –
- *headdesk* -

86. - … okay, so to lift the spirits of everybody involved again, they all went on a super-romantic date under palms… -
‚ What is so super-romantic over this date compared to the others?‘
- It‘s under palms, that‘s why, duh! -

87. - … finally , since there was still nobody doing the ‚hang loose‘ greeting, J-2 broke out the voodoo doll and used it to
befriend one of the locals…. to no result… what is it with you people, do you have something against Servos? -

88. - … oh well, with no luck getting to hang loose so far, we at least seized the opportunity for a relaxing massage, which of
course still doesn‘t make any sense for Servos, but why bother with logic… -

89. - … oh, and we also finally learned how to do hula… still, it took a while to finally realize, that the massage table lot is one
the few lots in Twikki island that has loud speakers you can dance to… -

90. - Now , with all the Vacation Mementos Twikki island has to offer but the local greeting , we returned one more time to the
vacation home, where we sold all the shells we dug up so far – and earned a whoppin 40.000 Simoleons with it. We also
kept one of each of the objects that can be found: a big shell, a snail shell, a seas star and a bowl of stained glass. -

91. - After that, some more time was spent with combing for seashells… -

92. - … before I tried the Voodoo doll trick one more time… and finally, a local greeting was exchanged… kinda disappointing by
the way, the Takemizu bowing is courteous and the chest pounding from Three lakes has a certain primal appeal. But
balancing on one foot while showing the devil sign? What a letdown… -

93. - … though didn‘t stop us from hanging loose with each other till the vacation was over… -

94. - … and of course we took some souvenirs home… or rather i forgot to sell them… -

95. - … bye bye, last vacation hood that needed to be visited… might be a while before somebody visits again…. -

96. - … and of course it was a great vacation… -

97. - … and the next day, it became winter… at 6:30 in the morning, that is a new record for the strange passing of the
seasons here in Instant City… oh well… see you hopefully back in Household K! -
