Promoted awareness and acceptance of sexual minorities at the
University of Tennessee
Oversaw the duties of five executive officers
Planned weekly educational, social, and community service activities
Organized the first ever LGBT friendly “Rainbow Rave” dance party for
Welcome Week, which saw 300+ attendees
Hosted and promoted semiannual drag entertainment events that saw
500+ attendees
Enacted a photography campaign to boost visibility on social media
Led a rebranding initiative and name change for the organization
Introduced and helped design new promotional materials such as T-
Shirts, buttons, and stickers

Facilitated two-day summer orientation sessions of over 8,000 first
year students and their families at the University of Tennessee
Led small group discussions and team building activities for 20
students at a time
Learned leadership skills amongst a diverse group of 24 fellow student
leaders through classes, retreats, and an intensive two-week training

Scripted and performed in a drama for all 4,000 new students to
promote values of diversity on campus
