Work Experience:
2015-till date: Leading zonal team (supported by an area sales manager, and two application
scientist), as a Zonal Manager (North India and East India) for reagents & consumables business,
marketing development, application support along with key customer account management and
market development planning & activities. Representing company in pre-bid, pre-sale presentation
and post-sale in hardware / instrumentation (flow Cytometry) sales.
2011 - 2015: Application support and business development of clinical and research Reagents and
Instrumentation at BD Biosciences, BD India, Signature Towers, Gurgaon. Regional responsibility
for northern India including Nepal and, also provide support to rest of India on need basis.
2011 to 2012: Application Specialist, ACBR-Delhi University (outsourced by BD Biosciences), in-
charge of flow cytometry usage for various research and clinical research projects being carried at the
university and other collaborative work from other institutes. Work carried out on the installed high
end flow cytometry sorter and analyzer. Responsible for managing the instruments maintenance &
usage, time management for the workload, assistance in flow cytometry assay design, optimization
and trouble-shooting and conducting user training programs for the research projects at this flow
cytometry core facility. External support by visiting other installations for trouble-shooting &
conducting training programs on call from employer.
2010 to 2011: Operator, AIRF-JNU (outsourced by Beckman Coulter). Responsible for managing the
Beckman Coulter MoFlo flow cytometer maintenance & usage, time management for the workload,
assistance in flow cytometry assay design, optimization and trouble-shooting for the research projects
and conducting user training programs for the researchers from the university at this flow cytometry
unit of the university core facility.
Developed the AIRF-JNU, the core facility of the University, as an all India Beckman Coulter, bench
mark, referral site for Jet-in-air Sorting.
All India Product demonstrations and Post installation trainings (analysis and sorting) on MoFlo,
Moflo XDP flow cytometer models of Beckman Coulter, India
2008 to 2010: Sr. Lab. Technologist, at OncQuest Laboratories, New Delhi.
Daily workload management, including sample processing, analysis and report preparation of
Leukemia and Lymphoma samples.
Creation & validation of tests and panels.
Quality Control / Quality Assurance in processes, sample data reports and turn-around times.
Company accreditation (NABL & CAP) documentation (manuals creation) and processes.
Provide assistance in setup and supervision of the Cytometry department, to meet NABL and CAP
accreditation standards, creation and maintenance of manuals and processes.
Vendor coordination for Training and service related issues.
Various training programs for technical staff, sales staff and Chief of Lab as follows:
-Analyzers: SOP, Maintenance, QC (IQ & EQ), Validation, workflow.
-Softwares: Analyzer software, ultra, i-net, Axapta.
-Chief of Lab: Validation of reports, company manuals (HR & Admin), Quality Policy.
-Sales: Technical, Test menus, promotional and launch activities.
Business analysis w.r.t. operational cost & logistics cost.

2. 2006 to 2007: Medical Scientist, Sitaram Bhartia Institute of Science and Research
Management of biochemistry and hematology assay validations, and up-gradation of the laboratory.

Independently develop clinical & research market for both reagent & instrumentation business, in the
region.
Conduct market development activities like workshops for multicolor flow cytometry, cell sorting,
CBA-bead based assay, other research and clinical assays.
Conduct pre-sales /sales presentations and discussions.
Follow up and drive the regional sales team associates towards effective sales development &
closures.
People management responsibility of three reportees, outsourced by BD Biosciences, based at
different institutes in north India.

manegement softwares: Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; BC - Summit; CytExpert, Kaluza;
BD - Cell Quest Pro, FACS Diva, FACSuite, Sortware, FCAP Array 3.
Advanced expertize with high end sorters in operation, maintenance and training, of different
platforms including Beckman Coulter MoFlo, BD Influx, BD FACS Jazz & BD FACS Aria.
