2. In honor of the 40-Year Celebration of the City of
Ariel, the Mayor, The Honorable Eli Shaviro, will be our
special guest along with 20 dancers and singers from
the award-winning Ariel Dance Troupe. It will be a
night of celebration as we look back at the founding
of Ariel by the former Mayor Ron Nachman, review
the past 40 years of progress in education, industry
and community, and hear of the Mayor’s vision for
launching a 40/40 partnership program to support 40
ongoing projects in Ariel.
A highlight of the evening will be a time in which
we honor some very special men and women in
the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex who have helped
shape the vision and prosperity of this prophetic and
biblical city.

HERE’S WHY YOUR SUPPORT IS SO IMPORTANT TO THE CITY AND NATION:
1.) HISTORICAL AND BIBLICAL SIGNIFICANCE
Ariel’s biblical roots and spiritual foundations are the source of inspiration. Abraham began his divinely inspired
journey to the Land of Israel in the Samarian hills, where he set up his famous tent of hospitality. Joshua, who led the
Jews into the Land of Israel following the exodus from Egypt, inherited this land, also known as the hills of Ephraim.
He and his pioneering ally Caleb are buried opposite the foot of modern day Ariel (source: friendsofariel.org).

said Netanyahu. Ariel is one of the only cities located between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, creating a pivotal line of

biblical prophecy. G-d says, "I will bring you from the nations and gather you from the countries where you have
been scattered -- with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with outpoured wrath," Ezekiel 20:34. • “[G-d]
will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; He will assemble the scattered people of Judah
from the four quarters of the earth," Isaiah 11:11-12.
6.) ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION
The Ariel industrial park is home to 140 companies and factories, including: Carmel Carpets, Lipski, Shamir Foods
and Abir Textiles. Employers at the Ariel Industrial Park give merit-based wages to both Israeli and Palestinian

Ariel represents a bridge between Israel and America, the American Jewish Community, and the Christian church.
The city’s unique partnerships represent G-d’s heart to see all peoples and groups of the world bless Israel. “Pray
for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee,” Psalm 122:6.
