This document announces three professional development opportunities for science teachers offered by Lehman College in the summer of 2016. Track 1 focuses on practical integration of technology in the science classroom and explores how computers and mobile devices can support project-based learning and implement Next Generation Science Standards. Track 2 is an introduction to computer coding with Scratch and will prepare teachers to lead coding courses. Track 3 is a grantsmanship workshop to help teachers acquire skills to successfully solicit funding to support STEM instruction.
