To Whom it May Concern,
I had the opportunity to manage Tom Leggett for over one and a half years while at
LipoScience, Inc. and was extremely impressed with Tom’s attention to detail,
leadership skills as well as his overall willingness to actively assist others within the
West Area. Tom diligently worked with his Diagnostic Sales Specialists, helping them
achieve not only their professional goals but also their personal goals; Tom was also
very good at providing extremely valuable feedback throughout the day to the DSS. In
the 1.5 years that I managed Tom I saw him grow into a strong leader that garnered
the respect from his sales reps as well as Senior Leadership within the organization.
Tom was always willing to reach out to other members of the West Area Leadership
Team offering his assistance and expertise.
Tom has taken it upon himself to participate in various Leadership Courses while at
LipoScience & had provided me great assistance leading a group of sales
representatives in Southern California. Tom has also asked me for recommendations
on various leadership books that might be helpful to him as well as additional
opportunities that will allow him to grow and remain a valuable resource to the
organization. Tom has truly taken ownership of his Development!
