Thomas Hayes has assisted us in a voluntary capacity at Hammersmith and Fulham
Urban Studies Centre as part of his internship from Bournemouth University for the
past year.
Thomas is a mature, level headed young man with a good attitude to work and
excellent organisational skills.
Thomas has helped us deliver sustainable green events at the Urban Studies
Centre, working with large numbers of primary school children in local schools. He
has also assisted young people in developing their speaking and debating skills on
our summer debating project last year. He shows plenty of patience and good
humour when working with children and young people and has a natural empathy for
this kind of work.
He has also led walks for adults and families in the local area and worked on
developing some of our promotional material for this project.
Thomas is trustworthy, diligent, punctual and reliable. He is always professional in his
approach, working well in a team and also having the ability to take a leadership role
when required. He is friendly and presentable and shows excellent ʻpeople skillsʼ.
We have been very pleased to rely on Thomasʼs skills and commitment at the Urban
Studies Centre and I do not hesitate to recommend him wholeheartedly as an
employee.
