1. NCP'S MISSION
NCP’s Mission is to provide superior quality healthcare services
that: PATIENTS recommend to families and friends, PHYSICIANS prefer for their
patients, and EMPLOYEES take pride in.
LET NCP SUPPORT YOUR VISION
NCP helps entrepreneurial cardiac and vascular specialists with a proven, innovative
and profitable outpatient lab model – allowing doctors to focus on quality patient
care while NCP delivers turn-key development, management and administrative
services.
Within the complex challenges of healthcare reform, we empower cardiologists and
vascular specialists to take control of their patient care, their clinical environment,
their financial future and especially their time.
NCP was founded on the belief that physicians and patients benefit from care
provided by the physician in an environment designed with patient care as its
foremost priority. We facilitate and manage the development of outpatient cardiac
cath labs and hospital-based cardiovascular programs through physician
partnerships. This business model makes the dream of complete professional control
readily accessible to groups of cardiologists and vascular specialists.
To meet the increased demand created by a maturing baby-boom population, a new
business model has necessarily emerged. Its objective is to continue providing the
most efficient, highest quality care in a patient-focused environment through a
better ownership and management approach.
2. YEARS OF EXPERTISE AND SUCCESS GUIDE THE WAY
Walter E. (Ned) Schwing, Chairman and Robert Schwing, Chief Executive Officer,
founded National Cardiovascular Partners (NCP) to participate in the development,
ownership and management of cardiac cath labs. For years, they have successfully
built over 60 joint ventures and led teams with extensive experience in
cardiovascular programs, ambulatory surgery center, diagnostic center and
freestanding dialysis center development and management. To date, NCP has
partnered with over 250 physicians in 23 outpatient cardiac catheterization &
vascular labs in Texas, Arizona, California and Florida, with expansion into
numerous additional states to take place in the coming years.
Prior to founding NCP, the Schwing’s, in 2006, co-founded Specialty Therapeutic
Care, LP, ("STC"), a distributor of specialty pharmaceuticals. Additionally, the
Schwing’s, founded Physicians Surgical Care, Inc. (PSC), a national provider of
freestanding ambulatory surgery centers and specialty hospitals. Created in 1997
with the development of a single surgery center in Houston, Texas, PSC quickly grew
to generate in excess of $60 million in annual revenues with eight locations in six
states The Schwing’s exceptional success with PSC was built on their prior founding
of Southwest Renal Care, a regional provider of outpatient dialysis services.
