Snap Survey: Impact on Business Schools
of Executive Order on Travel
The recent executive order impacting travel to the United States
by individuals from certain countries has caused concern within
the higher education community. There appears to also be
concern that other potential executive orders relating to the H-1B
visa are being considered, which would impose stricter
limitations on foreign students and employers, with potentially
significant implications for business schools.
We have surveyed a group of approximately 50 business school
professionals (deans, administrators and a limited group of
faculty) from a broad spectrum of institutional types, to determine
their opinions on the likely importance and impact of the
executive order on travel on their institutions.
