I have 30 years experience in the Aviation Maintenance Industry as a mechanic and have held the
Aircraft Engineers Maintenance Licence A+C full B1 and B3 for the past 20 years. My duties have
included Heavy and Line maintenance on multiple aircraft types. This would include repairs and
preventive maintenance of hydraulic, electrical power, flying control, engine, air conditioning and
cabin systems. As a Supervisor I have controlled aircraft checks, liased with customers and
suppliers, controlled manpower requirments and provided written reports. I have worked at various
outstations from Scandanavia to North Africa ensuring the smooth running and on time departures
of all aircraft under my control. I have become a competent troubleshooter and have an awareness
of commercial pressures.
Key Achievements
Gained Aircraft Engineers Maintence Licence Category B1 and B3.
Participted in the Heavy maintenance check of the Memorial Flight Lancaster.
Played an active role in the recovery of many grounded aircraft and received letters of
commendation from associated Companys.

B3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence for all types below 2000kg mtow.
City and Guilds qualification in Motor engineering.
I hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Interests
I'm a keen motorcyclist and have restored and own several classic motorcycles. I have an intrest in
wood and metalwork and well as gardening and machinery of all types. When not at work I can be
found in the workshop always with a project or two on the go.
