Assisted in conducting a study investigating the neural mechanisms of emotional engagement using EEG,
completed IRB training, ran participants in this research study, assisted in data analysis in SPSS, assisted in
training research assistants, collected and cleaned EEG data and presented research at two regional research
conferences (SPR (Society of Psychophysiological Research) and Sigma Xi).

Internship at Saint Vincent Hospital, Erie, PA. Summer 2016
Worked under Gary Knapp, who is a Needs Assessment worker, worked in the Needs Assessment
Department and the hospital’s psychiatric wards 3R and 3RW for 120 hours. Observed patients in group
therapy sessions, assisted in running group therapy sessions, sat in on psychological assessments and
evaluations, reviewed assessments, and sat in on intake interviews in the Needs Assessment Department in
the hospital.

Mentoring at-risk adolescents in the local community. The specific group that I mentored was
from Quality of Life, an after school program for adolescents from different countries that have
recently moved to the United States of America.
