New California employment laws for 2015 include the following: 1) Employers must provide a minimum of three days of paid sick leave per year for workers. This sick leave law applies to virtually all employers regardless of size. 2) The minimum wage was increased to $9 per hour and will increase again to $10 per hour in January 2016. Some cities like San Francisco and San Jose have even higher minimum wages. 3) Employers with more than 50 employees must provide two hours of anti-bullying and harassment training every two years for California supervisors.
