directfinancingforlease holderstopurchase theircurrentvehicle atendof term. Thisfive-monthproject
includedthe creationof aprojectworkplan,timeline,change management,andissue management
processesthatinvolved43resourceswithabudgetof approximately400K. Mainframe integration,CRM,
and an outside vendorthatprovidedafinance agreementgenerationsystemwere involved. All training
on vendor’ssystemwasinscope,updatinginternal policiesandprocedures,creationof mainframehack,
and data transferfromToyota’smainframe screenstothe vendorapplication. Thisprojectwascreated
withoutgettingsufficientinputfromdealernetwork,whichresultedinterminationuponlaunchdue to
intense dealerdissatisfaction. Ihad listed“dealerresistancedue tolossof potential income”asa high
riskfactor inthe scope documentandwastoldit was a non-issue because the projectwasalready
internallyapproved. Golive neveroccurredandthe projectwas abandoned.

WellPointisthe secondlargestHealthCare providerinthe UnitedStates. Iwas responsible for
Architectingaweb-basedcall centermanagementsystemenhancementthatinsertedamenuintoa
legacywebbasedCRMwithspecificandcommonreasonstotrack customercalls.I developedAPSand
JavaScriptprototype interfacestoobtaincustomerinputduringthe RUPdevelopmentprocessobtained
feedbackfromusersandpartnersandthenproceededwithmydesign. Thiswas useful because it
allowedstatistical informationtobe gatheredforanalysis. Designedanew webbasedinterface tocollect
and correlate onlythe informationrequiredbythe business. Thisprojectdrew informationfromthe
mainframe usingRPCstodisplaydynamicmenuselectionsbasedonthe type of call. Thisprojectwas
budgetedat2.1 millionandconsumed60+resourcesovera six-monthperiod.

HeathNet PMO – Staff ProjectManager/Product manager
 Newproductdeploymentof IT-relatedproductsfora 10-billion-dollarHeathInsurance Companyserving
five states.Workinginateam,I was responsible forarchitecting,overseeingthe developmentand
creationof financial products,QCimprovements,andthe implementationof several healthcare products.
The followingare variousfinancial andtechnical projectsthatImanagedwhile atHealthNet:
 Lead Project Manager for Health Net's acquisition of Universal Care. I was responsible for managing all
aspects of the transfer of all Medi-Cal memberships to current IT systems, along with all aspects of the
projectincludingthe projectworkplan,timeline,change management,andissue managementprocesses.
I managed70+ resourcesonthisprojectteam, and I receiveda "spot award" and bonus for my success of
this 5-million-dollar project.
 Deployment of flex-funded employer groups billing and fund transfers between Bank of America and
Citibankand was responsible forreducingFTEsandimprovingthe employergroupexperience. Imanaged
all aspects of the project, including the project work plan, timeline, change management, and issue
management processes, and guided management of 46 resources during the project.
Deploymentof the "HealthyKids"programto five separate counties in northern California. Managed all
aspects of the project including the project work plan, timeline, change management, and issue
management processes. The project spanned one year, and I managed the team of 45 resources during
this time.
 Architecteda new method for gathering business requirements for the local culture. I was told that my
efforts reduced meetings by 90%, along with shortened the process time to less than 14 days for large
projects. My teamcreateda touch-pointsdocumentthatwaspassedtoeach departmentaffected by the
project,andit increasedefficiency of time and accountability of every resource. Within two weeks, the
BR reduced the 10-12 meetings (over the course of 12 weeks) down to 2-3 meetings during the entire
project.
 Managed 837 inbound and outbound creations for Qcare encounters as part of the Universal Care
Acquisition. Worked with Orange County health officials as part of rollout.
Deployment and the creation of a SHP (State Health Program) website for Health Net.
Fast-tracking project for the deployment of the Tulare "Healthy Kids" program. Managed all aspects of
the project, including the project work plan, timeline, change management, and issue management
processes. The normal 90-day deployment process was reduced to less than 23 days. I received a "spot
award" and bonus for this successful project, as well as for its expeditious delivery.

projectsandresolve destroyedrelationshipsbetweeninternaldepartments. Responsibilitiesincluded
implementationof aplanfor continuousprocessimprovementforthe customer'shelpdeskissues,
resultinginissuesbeinglogged,prioritized,andusedasfuture problem-solvingreferences. Mini Projects
alsoprovidedrecommendationsandprototypesusingoutsidetoolsandtechnologies,aswell ascreated
cost effectivesolutionsformanytroubledprojects. Managedbudget,scope,trackedtasksandmanaged
4 to 7 resourcesperproject. Designedandmanagedthe creationof webbasedtonnage monitorsusing
accelerometersinplace of straingaugesasa solutionfora six-sigmaproject.Bothhardware andsoftware
solutionwhere createdforproduction monitoringandQA.
● Architect/ DevelopmentManagerfor Ford Motor Company on a projectfor implementingdisplaysfor
the productionline'sstaff toprovide currentstatisticsonthe line'sperformance,tosummonforfeeder
parts withpagers,andto sendalarmsto managementif accidentsorline stoppagesoccurredviaemail
and pagers. I successfullycreatedanddesignsolutionstocoverall aspectsof replacinga new systemthat
fell shortof Ford’sexpectations. VIVA wasaplantwide solutionforproductionmanagementusedin
three locationsWoodhaven,ChicagoandBuffalo.
● Architect/ DevelopmentManagerfor Ford Motor Company for a turnkeysystemprojectthatprovided
several componentsthatworkedtogetherforareal-time representationof currentproduction
information. Thissystem(VIVA) gatheredinformationfrommultiple databases,custom-madehardware,
and userinput. The projecttouchedmanyareas andgatheredrequirementsfrommultiple locations.
Much of the work inthisprojectaddressedpolitical issuesandinterfacingwiththe FordITEKdepartment
to provide acomplete turnkeysystem. Thiswasa multi-phase,two-yearprojectincludingthe $198,000
budget/year,andI managedthe projectworkplan,timeline,change management,andthe issue
managementprocesses.
● Architect/ DevelopmentManagerfor Ford Motor Company in imagingtoreplace the visual inspectof
productionpartson a critical productionline attheirWoodhavenStampingPlant. Aspartof a team,I
conducteda needsassessment,datacollectionandprocessflow mapping,anddeterminedrequirements
and risk. As a software architectImanagedthe design,prototyping,development,anddeploymentof a
customsolutioninlessthan90 days. Thisprojectwas accomplishedwithinthe prescribedtimeframes,
budgetconstraints,all the while keepingsponsorswellinformedof projectstatus. Thisshortroll-outwas
praisedasone of "Ford'sBest" byits owninternal BlackBeltorganization. Three resourceswithatotal
budgetof $82,000 producedthisawardwinningsolution.
● Architect/ DevelopmentManagerfor Ford Motor Company for a mandatedprojectthatwouldprovide
all plantswitha web-basedISOdocumentviewingsolutionandissue recordingsystemtoobtainfeedback
and metrics. My diverse teamanalyzedbusinessrequirements,workedcloselywiththe Ford'sQuality
Assurance departmentandUAW,preparedthe functional specifications,andcreatedadetailedscope
documentforapproval byall sponsors. Thisprojectresultedinthe creationof anexperimental
prototype. Thismission-critical applicationwasdeliveredaheadof scheduleandbelow budgetusingRAP
methodology,whichquicklyadaptedtorapidchangesinrequirementsforthis$60,000 three-month
projectconsistingof fourprogrammersandone analyst.

I managed70+ resourcesonthisprojectteam, and I receiveda "spot award" and bonus for my success of this 5-million-dollar project.  Deployment of flex-funded employer groups billing and fund transfers between Bank of America and Citibankand was responsible forreducingFTEsandimprovingthe employergroupexperience. Imanaged all aspects of the project, including the project work plan, timeline, change management, and issue management processes, and guided management of 46 resources during the project. I was told that my efforts reduced meetings by 90%, along with shortened the process time to less than 14 days for large projects.
