4. Climate change is a global phenomenon that alters the
climate of the Earth, and we must save the planet. It has
occurred for millions of years, on the contrary, its significance
has grown in recent decades. Unfortunately, time is running
out, and it appears that long-term measures such as using
eco-friendly light bulbs and solar energy panels will not be
enough to halt this rise.
OVERVIEW
6. What is climate change
?
● Climate change refers to
long-term shifts in
temperatures and weather
patterns.
● Burning fossil fuels
generates greenhouse gas
emissions that act like a
blanket wrapped around
the Earth, trapping the
sun’s heat and raising
temperatures.
20. Review of the issue
Climate change has disastrous
consequences for the Earth. Even
though it is risky, there are still
practical and effective ways to avoid
it. Humans will be able to stop the
effects of climate change if everyone
takes action.
