I am pleased to advise your application for an upgrade of your membership of our Institution has been
approved by the Membership Committee, and you have been awarded the grade of GRADUATE. Your
membership number will remain the same, 702598.
The financial year is 1 May to 30 April and you will not be invoiced for membership until May when we will do
the annual invoice run. The Institution sponsors a number of events and activities aimed specifically towards
the younger generation, to make them aware of mechanical engineering as a career. These events include the
“Technology Programme”.
We also welcome your suggestions which will grow the discipline and urge you to use the website to its fullest
potential by forming specialist interest groups with fellow members; interacting with other members;
participating in blogs and forums and so much more.
