It’s the most famous street of Łódź.

Piotrkowska. It’s a very special

EC1 is a renovated power station.
In the past it was producing
electricity for Łódź. Now we can
learn about EC1’s history in a new,
interactive museum. There is also a
planetarium, where we can
see a film about space.

Lódź is Uszatek Bear. He’s famous
among kids and he even has its
own monument situated on
Piotrkowska Street.
The second very famous cartoon made
in Łódź is the film about two cats – one
black called Bonifacy and one white
called Filemon. They also have their
own monuments situated next to
SE-MA-FOR Studio’s museum.

Manufaktura
Manufaktura is an old factory of fabric which has been renovated and
turned into the entertainment centre. In the past Izrael Poznański owned
this factory. He was one of three the biggest manufacturers in Łódź. Now
you can go there to eat something good in a restaurant, go shopping or
visit a museum. Manufaktura is a nice place to organize some events like
Polish Independence Day or New Year’s celebration and more. It’s a very
popular place.

Light Move Festival
Light Move Festival is a special festival organized every year in autumn
in popular places in Łódź, like Piotrkowska Street, EC1, Grand Theatre
and Manufaktura. It takes place at night. There are a lot of light
installations and light shows on buildings and streets.
It is a beautiful event.
